I love live music! This place is awesome! After living in Austin, TX I had the pleasure of frequenting several music venues and sampling sounds from all genres and different artists. Pour House is laid back and offers an eclectic selection of artists and sounds. In November we saw Aaron Behrens and The Midnight Stroll, the show was fantastic. I appreciate that this venue is the perfect size - the capacity allows for intimacy and does not feel overcrowded. We really enjoyed the outdoor area, too!

Went here for New Years Eve. Gave 3 stars because they dont have places inside to sit and enjoy the music, and outside you cant hear it and this time of year was way too cold to be out there anyway. Might go back if I knew a band, but they all seem pretty obscure. Hard to have a good time, considering, but the food truck was good, and the crowd was friendly. Oddly, the food truck required ordering at the bar. Not sure if this is normal or just because of New Years.

A nice gem we found on our visit to Charleston and ended up going twice. Loved the two mini bars in one place to wander between. Outdoor patio had nice music and a great vibe. Food and drinks good. Great selection of drinks. Inside house band music was top notch, fun and the sound system and sound person were great. Music was funk, R&B, Blues, Classic rock, vibe both nights and it is great to see younger kids enjoying this kind of music.

Hands down, the Pour House in James Island is my absolute favorite bar and music venue in the Charleston area. Everything from the staff to the back porch makes this venue a diamond in the rough. Equipped with two bars, indoor and outdoor, the Pour House brings a diverse crowd eager to listen to great live music. In short: great drink prices, pleasant staff and crowd, and notable bands.

Its a great place to see talent up close. But why do the shows start so late? Everywhere else the main show starts by 9. Ive been there where the top act doesnt come on until after 11. If you are going to start so late how about having the main show go 2nd when you have 3 acts. Last thing. Figure out how to get Lindi Ortega.

Good scene, no sketchy kids, great music. The staff is great and friendly. The kind of place you should check out if youre into the jam scene. Dead on the deck is awesome, they got a cool farmers market/ brunch thing on Sundays worth checking out!

I love to go there and chill and hang out wonderful music good food great atmosphere on Sundays at 11 a.m. they have yoga Outback on the patio only $10 after that they have a outdoor Farmers Market sales all kinds of goodies with live music

I stopped by here just for fun. I do not drink so its hard for me to rate a bar. I only spent my time on the back porch and there was a very talented band playing. If I was single and drank, I would be here weekly!

Its a cool place but I was there for a big show and it was way too crowded. Because its small and has a low ceiling it got VERY hot inside. Just way too crowded for a big event.
