recently joined club. the neighborhood is amazing. the amenities are of a higher class than any other community in columbia, sc. gated with security guards for the residents safety, numerous professional tennis courts, beautiful landscaping throughout the neighborhood, views from the golf course homes is great, the food at the pool is so good.. they have mixed drinks, beer, a flat screen tv for watching sports, hot tub, gym for members.. the pool is designer better than wildewoods, woodcreek farms, and lake carolina.. sidewalks throughout for walking. 27 hole course.. the homes are designed well with all the upgrades and great prices.. with the new prices and new site agent who is with coldwell banker this place will be better than the others.. the club house by the way is getting completed and will have events, food, and a full service bar. people need to remember it has a new owner and it is getting finished.. this is a higher class neighborhood with homes $299,000 and up. if i were in the market of purchasing a home or building a home i would buy here versus the others. if you have kids and want them to feel safe, be able to walk to the pool well, this place offers it. people should just tour this place for a day and they will be sold because I am!!

This was my 4th trip this year to play Cobblestone and will be my last. On 12/23 I have never been so insulted in all of my years playing golf. The starter treated me like a criminal because I had a Poweraide in the cart. He told me to take it to the car. WHAT? I was told no food or beverages allowed of any kind at Cobblestone. All courses make this statement due to people bringing beer, but a Poweraide? FYI - Our group would normally buy food at the turn and stop at the 19th hole for beverages. Not this day. The course can thank their NAZI starter for losing an additional $100 - $150 and a group that will now play Windermere.

Beautiful layout and great conditions, reasonable rates and fun to play. However, they need to have a marshal/ranger to monitor pace of play, especially during busy times like Sunday afternoons. We got stuck behind a fivesome - yes, five people playing in the same group - on our 7th hole and our pace for the round dropped to an absolute crawl. And to make it worse, some in the fivesome were hacks, plus they never had the courtesy to wave us up. We were lucky to have finished before it got dark!

This course is not for amateurs and I will not be returning until I improve tremendously. If you are a beginner golfer, you will be frustrated with the difficulty of approaching the greens without losing your ball due to endless surrounding sand traps and water hazards on virtually every hole. I am still rating 5 stars because this is a beautiful and well maintained course with a fantastic clubhouse but there are much easier courses around here.

I have been golfing for over 20 years. As a woman it can be hard to be taken seriously. I want to say that everyone I interacted with was incredibly welcoming and asking me to return. I played the 9 hole course. It was challenging but beautiful. I cannot wait to return! The Clubhouse is beautiful-- small Pro Shop is downstairs. This is where you want to spend your money and your afternoon!!

Really worth it, no fooling...was cold that day, but Im from Indianapolis, so was just fine for me. No flaws on course of any kind. Greens were FAST as Hell, but consistent. Lots of elevation changes, which I really enjoy. Univ. SC womens team plays here, I can see why. It may go private? Go play.

Golf course is beautiful and presents a great challenge for all golfing ranges. Club house is awesome and has beautiful views and good food at Alexanders. Nothing better then play 9 and having a few drinks and a bit afterwards!

Club pro is a tool bag. We had some music playing on our bag and he came out like a douche and shut it down. Plus he told us they had coolers at the snack bar and they had none. The guy is a tool. I will not be going back.

Best bang for the buck. The 27 hole course is very well maintained. My first pick of any course in this area. Its currently available to the public. Better play here while you have your chance.

Beautiful homes, great course and amenities. The club house has yet to be completed, as with many middle class neighborhoods like this, some of the tenants are unrealistic in their expectations.

Wonderfully helpful staff, superb practice facilities, and the best greens Ive ever played on. They were absolutely perfect, no bumps, no patches, and billiard table smooth.

Nice golf course, well maintained. A couple of odd holes, the par 3s are mostly up hill and you cant see the green from the tee so it makes for a tough first round.
