Carolina lakes is in my opinion, the best golf course that is open to the in the South Charlotte area. with beautiful scenery and well kept fairways and greens,just beautiful.(only the private members golf courses are better,trust me on this one) I recently played after 1 year absence and it was obvious that this will soon become a members only club. very difficult to get a morning tee time during the week and impossible on weekends if you get a morning tee time make sure you are a low handicapper as the members are mostly very good and fast golfers and have become inpatient. we were a two some and finished our 18hole round in under 4 hours despite letting through 3 groups of inpatient three somes. wow... not sure why these retirees were in such a hurry,..I admired their game though,they hit the ball very well. I hope Mr webb builds a second golf course in this community bcos at the rate they are building homes here,the members themselves soon will be unable to get a tee time .

The course is like shopping at Belk. It is very nice but the management is like dealing with the DMV, no clue what customer service is. They have a million price points and are more willing to take care of coupon clippers than repeat customers. I would say only play here if you pay for your round up front on clickitgolf or their website. Their email has one price, their website has another, then when you show up they charge you a whole different price. And yes, they never pick up the phone!!!!!

Very nicely kept, The greens and the tee box are very far apart, you must use a cart. Each ride to the tee box front the green is 2 minutes if not further.

I wish I were in the age group allowed to live here. Lots of activities and amenities. We love to go on runs when we visit my in-laws.
