I have to temper that rating. Played there Monday, April 13, 2015. The greens fees were $45 for riding, with no discount for seniors. The greens obviously hadnt been mowed since last year and were extraordinarily slow. In addition, there werent even rakes at any of the sand traps, resulting in foot prints and other obvious disruptions to the sand. Given those adverse golfing conditions it would have been prudent to offer lower rates. The net result was a black eye for the management, which of course will heal over time since the course, when in good condition, is one of the areas finest. However, a black eye nonetheless, and one that was unnecessary . . . one caused by lack of inconsideration for golfing clients.

Great course. Will return whenever Im back in the area. Nice and long from the back with very little to no gimmicks. Yup.... Greens are huge so make sure you have yardages right. When I played the greens were a bit slower than they looked but I can only imagine how quick they will get over time. Nice and true and maybe not as much break as you think. Definitely a TPC style course with some hints of Bethpage Red/Black around the tee boxes. This course will(should) certainly get national rankings and will be fun to watch get even better over time. Its a must play

What an outstanding golf course. Beautiful layout that works its way through the native trees and hills. This course is meticulously maintained. Fairways were bent grass. Large greens were well protected by perfectly groomed bunkers, they rolled true on all 18. Play this course from the back and youre looking at +7,400 yards. Plenty of tee options in front of that. A very manageable 6,500 yards from the normal tees. No driving range, however. Great post round pub to eat and drink.

I played Meadow Brook once, and looking forward to going back. My first impression was ... PGA style course, saw grass, bunkers everywhere, very long, and enormous greens. Some of the greens appeared to be 2000 square feet! Most pin locations were toward the back of the green.. so at the typical 150 yd marker..it makes sense to play it like 170 yds.. better to be a bit long here than short.

I havent stopped raving about it. I played it twice this year. It has 5 sets of tees that can challenge any golfer. Think your the cats pajamas? Play from the tips. Course was in great shape both times I played. It is very fair and there arent many tricky holes or even tricky shots. If you can hit it straight you can score well. Do yourself a favor and play this course if you love golf.

Beautiful, somewhat challenging and diverse course. Was my second time playing and will be returning. -1 star because the ranger was a rude jerk to us after not being very clear about when to start after we had teed off.

Fun to play from the tips. Great conditions for public play. Rangers tried to push pace of play with a slow group in front of us. Voucher for food after the round. I hope the RIGA does an event here soon.

High priced, no parking, dirt cart paths and a $2 coupon discount on high priced food. No handicap facilities. You can do better!!

Excellent shape but too difficult for a hacker. And way overpriced.
