Watching Paint Dry
Me and my family went on vacation to Rhode Island and decided it would be fun to go see the museum and most excitedly, the planetarium. In Florida, me and my younger brother always loved planetariums. When we sat down in the room with minimal leg space, my family was optimistic. But as the lights turned off, the projection on the rounded ceiling was so dim and colorless, it was impossible to make anything out. My mother has always been fine with planetariums, but has an issue with claustrophobia. It was so dimly projected, pitch black and tight, that she had a panic attack and had to be escorted. A terribly dissapointing experience. If you want to see a good planetarium, vacation to Florida.

We are on vacation and drove 45 min to get there and hit traffic, so were about 2 min late and they told us that we were locked out and there was no way to let us in. There was only 1 other car in the parking lot we parked in, but they would let our group of 7 people in, most if which were kids. Nothing I said would change her mind. My kids were so disappointed!

For what its worth. They mentioned that they just had an update in their software for the Planetarium and it turned out to be a very informative presentation. Even though the lighting for the mineral display was lacking, I would still give them 5 stars.
