Most fun in one night. Superb dinner & drinks, great waitstaff. Great buffet dinner with top shelf choices. I had Prime Rib (Saturdays) and all my favorites. We were quite stuffed so we picked some desserts but put them near s&p. Time to enter the theater. Very nice, lovely... soon quite mesmerized...Fantastic play (all seats are prime view), cast was brilliant, lighting and sound was exact, crews efforts were seemless. Ive seen this particular play before but dirrections were remarkable; bravo to the Director too. All standing applause ☆☆☆☆☆ We had put aside desserts at our table for after. Our waitstaff had re-dressed our table for the after show, refreshed the water picture, put our desserts we had shoved to the side front and center for each of us along with the after drink wed ordered. Such loving details and so nice to come out from a stunning performance to have a calm, pleasant time to simply sit and chat about the play with others. Then we were excited when soon the festivities turned to the stage in the dining room. Many bday & anniversary celebrations were honored individuality as we finished out desserts. Then an awesome super funny Caberet Variety Comedy show opened. We were so excited by the jokes we couldnt stop laughing.

This was the first time wed ever attended a venue such as this. We were in Newport RI for the weekend and decided to try the playhouse. I cant begin to describe how quickly the night flew and the fun we had. Our stomachs were tight from laughing so hard. Our wait person Freddy was a genuine delight. They serve a buffet style menu which you wont be disappointed in. The selection was plentiful and very tasty. If you leave hungry from your table its of your own doing. From dinner we were escorted to the theatre to enjoy "The Love List". The actors were quite enjoyable as was the content of the play. After the play we returned to the dining room to enjoy a cabaret. Again, we were not disappointed as it is clear the participants in the cabaret truly love what they do and they do it with finesse and grace. Thank you all at the Newport Playhouse and Cabaret Restaurant for a most magnificent evening. We hope to see you again in the not to distant future. Extremely popular dinner theater that has sat at the base of the Newport Bridge for the past 33years. They serve a hearty selection of delicious foods buffet style in the restaurant and then you are ushered into the attached quaint little theater to see a very entertaining show. Most performances are comedies and are approximately 90 minutes long, shown without an intermission. At the end of the show, patrons are invited to return to their dinner tables in the restaurant to enjoy the cast in a cabaret style show of musical numbers and skits. Most shows attract an older crowd but no matter your age, a good time is always had by all.

I was at the playhouse yesterday to see Whole lot of Cheatin going on...The whole experience from beginning to end was just unbelievable...The buffet was so good and delicious...the wait staff was helpful and right on to help with anything you needed...The show was one of the best and funniest I have ever been too. The whole cast was outstanding and so humorous. Then when you think it cant get any better ...there is the cabaret. The singing, the jokes, again the cast...I can not recommend Newport Playhouse highly enough...What a wonderful way to spend a day...GO if you ever have the opportunity. Thank you Jonathan....

One of the very BEST bus trips we been on, Great Buffet, outstanding service and a 5 Star show of KILLJOY & Cabaret, I would highly recommend to anyone and at the end was a Salute to us Veterans was a Bonus by the Performers.....Semper Fi, as we Marines say...
