We called the number to ask if we needed a reservation for jet ski rental and the gentlemen that answered the phone said that we could go anytime, the jet skies are available every hour and we might just have to wait 15-20 minutes. When our family showed up before 2 oclock, the older man that worked at the boot and answered my phone call said that he did not have any jet skies for next 2 hours, but we could rent it for 4 oclock. We asked if we needed to pay in advance to make sure that we were all set for 4 oclock, he said "no, just come back at 4". After spending next 2 hours in the area we came back before 4 oclock he looked at us like he saw us the first time and when we reminded him that he told us to come back at 4 oclock. He said "I know, sorry I cant do anything?". When we reminded him that twice that day he assured us that we could rent the jet ski he looked at us with same idiotic look and said the same thing "Sorry, I cant do anything?" Now may be youll get lucky and will get someone not as clueless the day you go, but we will not be wasting our day trying our luck. We were disappointed and shocked by such an unprofessional service.

I wouldnt recommend anybody to go to this place! Very expensive, the guy is rude and dont know how to deal with people. Me and my bf went there the first time to jestski but the guy said it was booked for that day and that we needed to call ahead and reserve, so we did for the following sunday. We showed up with the reservation and he starts saying that it might not be a good idea jestski because it was windy (just a little bit) and it would be rough...we said we could still try it but he made made up something again saying theres sea weed and they had to clean. We could tell he didnt want to do it so we left! We drove almost an hour twice for nothing the "rude guy" shouldve called us and let us know all those conditions it would safe us time and gas. They suck

I have been renting outboard boats and jet skis from Adventure Waterssports for almost 10 years. Every year when I rent from these guys their equipment always preforms reliably and the whole family has a great time. At times, especially on the weekends they are particularly busy and they seem to operate on a first come first served basis. So! If you want to rent something relax and wait around the marina. While you wait, I especially recommend going up to the rooftop of the hotel located at 142 Long Wharf - it has an amazing view of Newport harbor.

There were three workers there. First of all the old man working there was rude and unprofessional. The other two workers wouldnt talk to me directly, they would talk to the old man to relay message to me. I felt uncomfortable and they possessed absolutely no people skills whatsoever. I told them what we wanted to do and their exact words were "its not my problem". I get it that we had to make reservations but their website didnt have an option to reserve or instruct to do so. They need a check up from the neck up!

What a horrible way to run a business. We arrived and were shocked to find no one there!Called the number and no one bothered to call us back! Great way to grow a business! We went with Jamestown Outdoor and we were glad we did! The prices were much lower and the owners were absolutely amazing. Our adventure of kayaking was sign, sealed and delivered by them! We are already planning many outing with them. You lost a lot of business! NO STARS FOR YOU!!!!!!!

we went there on a long weekend. Rented double kayak. They allowed my one year old baby for kayak, we are happy for that. Unluckily my baby cried in between and we returned within 30 min even though we reserved for 1 hour. When we asked for the remaining time they agreed without any hesitation. The crew is very nice and supportive. We paid $35 for double Kayak for 1 hour at that time.

Our group was looking forward to a fun day of jet skiing with family and friends, but were met with rude employees and a highly aggressive owner. Ive never seen such poor customer service in my life. I wish we had checked the Yelp! reviews before wasting our time with these guys. Save yourself the time and trouble and find better options across the bay in Newport.

We drove from Newport to Jamestown to avoid the contaminated water in Newport Harbor, where the beach was recently closed. People here are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Equipment is up to date and safe. They even take pictures and email them to you! Ignore the nasty reviews - we could not have had a better time.

Adventure Watersports is great! I rented two jet skis for an hour and we had a blast. Friendly staff made the entire experience fun and stress free. They also offered us free online photos and even posted them on their website. Im going to rent from these guys again next summer for sure.

My sister and I rented two jetskis from here both in great conditon. We received a thorough safety course prior to departing. Extremely courteous and professional. If youre looking to jetski while youre in Rhode Island highly advise this place.
