So disappointing an experience visiting this winery for the first time. The wine steward was soley concentrated on engaging with his personal friends who stopped by. I was there for my first time and he barely gave me seconds of his time to help me decide on a first wine purchase. He was not friendly. Not very helpful. Never smiled. Or interested in a "new" customer. (I am from CA, a huge wine fan as I am a big dinner hostess and was very interested in discovering new PA wines) As the wine steward walked by his friends he leaned over to whisper something in reference to my first purchase and all had a good laugh. I suppose this unpleasant experience of mine, is one reason the place was almost completely empty on a Friday late afternoon!?? I wont be back as their prices, too, are steep with no justification for the steep climb.

My mom and I stopped by this afternoon afternoon for a glass (or two) as we found ourselves in the Jim Thorpe area. Dustin, who I met for the first time, and my mom had known from prior visits was a great bartender to have for a nice afternoon. We both enjoyed our wine and we had gotten a cheese plate to go along with it and we just had such a nice, relaxing afternoon at the winery. Cant wait to come back again! Beautiful bar!

The only thing that kept me there was the fact that we have traveled a long way and needed a quick drink to decompress and relax and the price for the tasting was cheap. The wine steward was unfriendly, hardly had conversation and couldnt be bothered with any specific questions or details of each of the wine.

I have just moved up to the area and this has become my new favorite place for wine. Ill stop in to have a glass or two or pick up some wine to take home. Their wine is fantastic and the bartender is very knowledgeable and friendly. Great wine and great service; would highly recommend!

Great find. Very clean and nice people. Dont miss this place when you are at Jim Thorpe. Ride your bike and then come over for wine or beer!
