We visited on a quiet Friday morning with our homeschool co-op of about a dozen pre-school thru 3rd grade kids. While the covered wagon and associated dress up and role play accessories were the number one hit, the kids also enjoyed several of the other exhibits such as the silicone wafer display, the polymer sand box, and others. The adults also learned quite a few things. Worth a visit!

I took my class here on a field trip to learn about the Silicone Forest and they had a fantastic time. The opening discussion and history lesson was informative and thorough. The exhibits were informative and I left having learned a lot too! I was impressed with the scope of history that their exhibits cover and will definitely go back soon!

Nice museum, bit of a hidden gem. 2nd floor of the Civic Center, near the fountains and Starbucks. Nice gift shop they just expanded. Sometimes they have stuff for kids. I think its definitely worth a couple visits. Lots of local history here.

What an awesome exhibit hall and resource this is. Take the family here and learn about the early settlers and the Atfalati Indians who were here thousands of years before all this ! So much history - learn how we got where we are today !!
