What a fun and fascinating place! This is a treasure trove filled with those beloved childhood games of our yesteryears as well as every modern board game imaginable. For those curious souls who would like to know how some of our most well-known games evolved, the history is on display. Suitable for families, children or just adults, there are puzzles and games for every age and ability. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the people are caring, friendly, and very knowledgeable. This is the perfect place to get away from those soul-sucking electronics and spend some quality time socializing with new friends and old.

Just went there for the first time with the whole family and had a great time! This is an incredible place to hang out with family and friends and since we now have a membership we will be back often. I cant believe I didnt know about this place before. I thought our teenagers would think it was boring but they absolutely loved it!!! We were able to play games for 2 hours tonight and no one looked at their smartphones! Thank you for creating such a fun place.

I love this place! This is now where I always bring out-of-town visitors. Chock-full of games and puzzles old and new, its a great spot to bring friends/family and try a new game or one that you remember fondly. Although the exhibits under glass are often quite interesting, the main exhibit is the huge collection that *you can play with!* There are also many events, including crafts. And the proprietors Kyle and Carol are very friendly and helpful.

Really rad little place. Theyve got more games than I knew existed. Im a truck driver and was just in town for the night when I passed by the place. When I went in the owner greeted me and gave me a pretty thorough rundown of the place. Besides all of the great board games, theyve also got some historical games from different countries. Definitely worth checking out.

My "go to" place for senseless fun and casual learning in Portland. Comfortable, cozy environment, and an enormous collection of board games and puzzles (over 3,000!). Kyle and Carol are friendly and brilliant ludologists. I learn something new about board games and their history every time I visit. Would recommend this place for all ages.

I read about it in a program of local things to do and see. It was the only kid-friendly thing that was open nearby while we were there, so we decided to check it out. It really isnt much of a museum, but they do have a TON of games to play, which definitely includes things you have never seen before. We had a really good time there.

Kyle and Carol are amazing! This place has games from various eras; multiple versions of the classics (Risk, Monopoly, Clue, Candyland, Life). They also have games for the enthusiast. They can introduce new games to all ages. This is a family oriented facility. I can only hope they remain in town for many years to come!

Board game paradise. I spent a rainy day here playing board game, card games and even Nintendo 64. Everytime Im in Beaverton, Im coming here. Very friendly staff. Bring some coffee and friends. Small museum exhibition of historic games and game history. Including games of the indigenous Pacific Northwest tribes.

I have loved board games since I was very little. Walking through with my 2 youngest kids and then playing a game with them was a hoot. And then to see how many games they have is really amazing. Lots of games to play if you want to! And it was really fun to see games in the "museum" part that I played as a kid!
