The venue is beautiful however the staff is sub par at best. The kitchen manager was very helpful and friendly so was Charlene the person that signed our contract. Other than those two everyone else was a mess. Lulu our "manager" was a snotty lady, that fake smiles, agrees to do what you ask and proceeds to do whatever the heck she feels like. I kept with my super friendly attitude and she finally started cracking a smile and being friendly, but she doesnt deserve credit for that In my opinion. The "bartender" literally does not know any drinks. the groom asked for screwdriver...he poured two types of vodka into a cup and handed it to him...my husband was like, your not going to put orange juice, this man said "oh it goes with orange juice?" He was also not friendly AT ALL, I dont know his name but he has odd eyebrows. Then simple request I made for extra decorations (which they encourage) were not followed. The use of their plates/cups/etc was part of my package (which was NOT CHEAP), these fools at the Crystal Ballroom on the Lake actually served me, my husband, and wedding party in glass cups and served the rest of guests in plastic cups like I wouldnt notice! Also Alberto or alfredo at the "design studio" is, I dont even have words for him. Totally unhelpful, Ill say that. I went there with all the information of what and how I wanted to venue decorated and he told us we could not pick any of those things because he picks them. I would not recommend this venue to anyone because it was slightly over 7,000, if the service would have been the way it was describe by Charlene then I would not feel robbed, but the service was pretty bad. I think I could have hired teenagers off the street and had a more put together and professional team. Not impressed or even happy with this venue at all!

Its beautiful....... We had our wedding & reception at The Crystal ballroom on the Lake in Altamonte Springs, FL It was Awesome… Jackie and her team worked with us to execute our vision exactly as we had imagined. We valued their high level of professionalism and experience - they managed timeline and logistics smoothly, all my emails and phone calls were returned, questions responded to in a timely and professional manner, allowing us to sit back and enjoy our wedding. We also received a ton of compliments on the venue itself. It was flawless. Thank you Jackie for making the planning process and the day-of stress-free. I will recommend The Crystal ballroom on the lake to any of my friends for a spectacular wedding!

I was interested in having my wife 50th Birthday party there but after looking at the reviews...I dont know. If the owners give the same response to concerns, is the response genuine? I see it as a false way to just make a response vs actually correcting the wrong. The lady spending $7K should have had a discount or a wedding present from the owners of $250 or more returned as a thank you and a sincere apology. The issue with the bartender should not have been repeated if they took these comments seriously...smh...very disappointing.

My Opinion

Went to a very lovely wedding reception on April 23rd, the setting was beautiful. Everyone was very professional. The biggest disappointment was the bartender, i had 2 drinks made neither was correct. PLEASE if you want to continue being referred by previous customers and guests, PLEASE FOR GODS SAKE get a REAL bartender or at least someone who can read a recipe book and make a decent drink. Altamonte Springs is not very shy about avoiding venues with a reputation of bad service.

Words cant express how amazing this venue truly is. From day one we had a wonderful experience. Lulu is a true professional, easy to work with. Guided us in the right direction, she knows her stuff. When I tell you this was a stress free wedding cause of lulu. The day of the wedding lulu had everything ready for us. I dont have any complaints, everything was perfect. Thank you to lulu and the Crystal ballroom.
