3 of us including our 6 year old went on Rendezvous Run close to the end of the day. We grabbed our mats from the attendant area at the rides exit and proceded to the top only to get told the ride was closed and we could not go down. We had to walk all the way back down. This made our son cry all they way down and for the next little bit, his heart was broken. There is no reason they should not have let us go. We complained to the attendant at the bottom and to a supervisor at customer service, who did not care at all. They just said "sorry" and just had us fill out a form. Giving my son a complimentory container of cotton candy would have made it ALL better.. but they chose not to do anything but say sorry. A sad display of large company "customer service".

Im not really that big on water parks because Im scared of most water slides and pools, but this is a wonderful place for everyone. They have one of almost everything. The only thing thats missing is a water coaster and I can see that coming soon. I may not do any of the slides, but the pools arent scary to me and the atmosphere is my favorite part. I love the smell of chlorine and sunscreen. Its beautiful! But if decide to go, bring lotion and comfortable water shoes. You cant wear them on body slides (Im pretty sure they would let you put them in a pocket or in your swimsuit), but you can wear them in the pool and on any slides that have a mat or raft. They also save your feet from the rough pavement and keep them from getting dirty.

Great waterpark so much fun! There is so much to do at Soak City at Kings Island something for everyone. Extreme to family and small children. The park is well maintained and clean. Only bad thing, during the summer months especially on weekends there can be long waits for some of the slides and the pool gets packed with people. There are great areas with picnic tables and shade you can sit and have lunch with the family.

Not the best waterpark around but its good for the fact is comes with your season pass/daily ticket! Theres many different water slides and two waves pools, plus much to do for the little ones. The lines are always very long though which is a downside, and with this waterpark being owned by Cedar Fair, the food is an outrageous price. But if you need a cool down from the rides, this is a good place to go!

Love Soak City, but sometimes it is overcrowded. Food and drinks are ridiculously priced. Just get a stamp and go eat at one of the many wonderful restaurants right outside. Alcoholic beverages are priced so high that Boone buys any. 8/20/17 The pools are both closed. Dont waste your money. They wont get another cent from me.

The new slides are fun but the wait is super long, I would say worth it once then go on some of the older slides/rides with the shortest line. Make the most out of your day--dont spend 3 of your 6 hours there in a line.

HORRIBLE! Most mismanaged place Ive ever been. Not to mention the texture of the pavement. If youve ever walked barefoot on an aircraft carrier...then you know what its like to walk barefoot at Soak City.

No chairs to sit anywhere. No cabana to rent on a Wednesday. Couldnt imagine a weekend. Worst design of a Waterpark I have ever seen.
