I heard that the patio view of downtown Columbus was awesome here, so instead of the usual boring places we always go, I dragged my parents out here for a bite to eat. Let me echo another reviewer and agree that "the staff went out of their way to be friendly, generous and accomodating" from the welcoming greeting we received by our waitress, to the kind approach and introduction by one of the other workers while waiting for our food to arrive, and even to the local golf pro (and now PGA tour major player Wyatt Worthington) who took time out of his busy scheduled to come talk to us. Of course, it wouldnt have been special had the food been sub-par, but thankfully it was pleasantly tasty, fresh, and tender. We ordered the single hamburger, which my dad said nothing negative about so it must have been pretty good, and my mother and I split the big fish sandwich, which had a nice flaky center with just the right crispiness on the breading to make it melt in your mouth. The pretzel bites (with cheese sauce), and the waffle fries, were both excellent as well. The only beef I could even come up with, which I almost hesitate to share anyway, is that the mixed drinks I ordered were a tad on weak side, but I certainly wouldnt let that bring down the amazing experience I had, and I cant wait to go back there to hang out with these wonderful folks again. Since I do use an electric wheelchair, I would be remiss if I didnt share the overall ADA accessibility of this place. The parking lot has at least 2 van-accessible handicap spots right next to gentle ramp leading to the sidewalk leading to the front door. The doors are heavy, but certainly wide enough for easy entry, and its a straight shot from the outside sidewalk all the way to the seating area for the restaurant/pub. Its a very open floor plan, from what I saw, with most tables being 30" high or so. We chose to dine on the patio which is easily accessible directly from the outside sidewalk or through the restaurant. Everything is very flat and simple to navigate through. Unfortunately, I did not check out the restroom, but when I revisit I will update this post.

Great place, after the Yelp! event, I too came back here a few days later with a good friend. I cant really complain about anything here, except for one thing, and Im going to call in a recommendation. I spend most of the morning and afternoon working outside in the sun, so for a break and some fun time we came here to hit a few balls around. The breeze was awesome, however, I really wanted to stay out of the sun, so we used the covered tees. My recommendation would be, and they might even do it, would be to open up the windows/doors on the backside of the tee barn so a breeze can get in there, or setup some fans, it was just way too stuffy for any comfort. My hand got so sweaty, my club flew out of my hand during a swing and went flying out into the range, and you know what, I never knew I could throw a club so far! You will definitely get great value here. My buddy was very surprised when we got a bucket of balls and was expecting a counting machine to give you an exact number, and was surprised to find a bin and you just fill up your basket full yourself. I havent tried the normal menu, but what they offered at the Yelp! event was very good, and I enjoyed it, even when it was served buffet style, so I hope to come back here, just to enjoy some food and drinks and the awesome view sometime.

Went here for a team-building work outing. I had never golfed before. First let me say the staff went out of their way to be friendly, generous and accomodating. Started on the driving range, moved on to the putting course. Took a break for lunch at the cafe. This was the only low point. The cafe was nice but the food was so-so, the soda machine was turned off, the prices were high and the service was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW - we had to wait almost an hour for our food. They seemed very overwhelmed and there were maybe a dozen customers. We had paid to play the sort course, but lunch took so long we ran out of time. We would go back, hopefully they improve the service in the clubhouse.

This is absolutely one of the best places I know of. The view of Downtown is amazing. To watch Sunset from this location is nothing short of Magical!! Not only can I take in a quick game of golf on a brilliantly designed golf course, I can also practice my putting on a real short grass putting course! Not a Putt-Putt Course a REAL short grass green!! The food at the Clubhouse is great and to enjoy dinner on the patio while watching the sunset is the best way to end your day!

On Monday, August 18, 2014 I along with two other golfers experienced the par 3 golf course for the first time. We found the terrain to be very rough, not very well marked and just one step under a cow pasture. It was also very complicated to get the golf cart to our car to load our golf bags. We have played great golf courses for a lot less money. The Golf Depot was totally over priced for what it offers. We will never be back.

The course is in terrible shape. I went the first week they opened and the fairway has not matured very much in the past year. There are no signs on any of the holes to let you know what hole you are on or the yardage. there were no marker to let you know red, white or blue tee set points. and they are very overpriced. Next time i will just go to the regular Gahanna Municiple course because its better and cheaper.

My wife and I had dinner at Barrys. I almost didnt want to rate this because it is a nice change from from the usual sports bar / TV s everywhere theme and I didnt want it to become so popular I wouldnt be able to just walk in and sit down. It was a nice evening so we sat outside and enjoyed the view. Very peaceful and the food, while not fancy, was fresh and hot. I am keeping this on my list of places to go.

I would recommend The golf Depot to anyone! From the pro to someone picking up a club for the first time this place has something for everyone. A great club house, friendly staff, a short course for your short game and a fairly challenging par 3 course for keeping your game sharp. I could go on & on but you really must go check it out for yourself!

I have bought multiple things here and referred my neighbors. They treat you with a cocky attitude and then screwed my neighbors with a totally refurbed golf cart that had bad batteries. They wanted to over charge them to replace them. I would go to Affordable in Hudson.

I absolutely love this place! The golfing is incredible, especially for a hack like me. Barrys Grill & Pub is always a good time as well. This is the hottest spot in Central Ohio to watch any fireworks show as well!
