The golf course is in good shape and Nigel in the Pro Shop provided great customer service. However, Wayne Warren, the apparent owner of the Resturant on the premises was the most disrespectful person Ive had to deal with in a long long time. Not only was he drunk while in a Community Golf Course shirt, he was cussing in front of a group of small children that were there for a kids day at the course. Its very unfortunate that I will no longer be giving my business to the golf course because of someone that isnt even associated with the course other than the ownership of the restaurant that is on the property. If you do decide to visit Community Golf Course just keep your children away from the restaurant.

The pro had zero golf knowledge. I asked him which of the 2 courses had a higher slope rating and he had no idea what I was talking about. I then asked him which course was more challenging because I appreciate challenging layouts. He seemed perplexed again and looked at me like I was the stupid one for asking questions about his courses. I gave up and said YOU PICK. The course had some pretty neat holes, but condition wasnt all that great. The golf carts are gas powered and needed warmed up before they could run without having to be choked everytime you hit the gas.. so annoying! The pro is an ass. Spend an extra $5 and go play somewhere else.

The bar owner, Wayne Warren, was drunk and unprofessional. He was cussing in front of a youth group of league golfers while in his community golf course work attire. He made a huge spectical in from of little kids, moms, dads and grandparents. The pro shop was fantastic and their customer service is spot on. Course is fantastic and starters very friendly. ALL I SAY IS DONT GIVE YOU MONEY TO THE BAR OWNER. Completely uncalled for!

This is one of the worst courses in the area. The fairways are hard. It is actually better to hit off of the "rough", at least there is a little grass. Most of the rough is crabgrass though, so pick your poison. Even worse than the course is the service from the pro shop. The pro running the shop is rude and treats customers horribly. There are many more options for golfing in the Dayton area. Dont waste your money here.

Great golf course, the food in the restaurant is Fantastic!! Lots of specials and everything cooked fresh!! Pizza is better than Marions and the chicken salad is a hit!! Nice to come into after long day on the course! Full bar and patio!! Great place to sit back, watch sports and relax!! They also have the best frozen Margaritas in town!

The service here is ok at best, and its overpriced in my opinion. I got a quote over the phone and they charged me more when I got there. However, the course is very unique and fun to play. I think its in good shape and worth playing once or twice a year. If you have never played here I would check it out.

Ive played Community for 25 years. Its in great shape. The hilly terrain makes for fun golf. It plays around 6350 yards. But feels even shorter. For $28 on the weekends its a steal. One caveat. If youve forgotten what muni greens are like itll take some getting use to. These arent cut using a stimp meter.

WHAT A RECOVERY! The grounds crew has done a wonderful job to recover from the wet spring..They should be proud of the work they have done in recent weeks. It was a swamp with long grass everywhere. I played last week and the place was great! The greens were perfect.

I liked it for a very old golf course. It was very challenging. The course was very well taken care of. There were plenty of hills and plenty of trees to contend with. I will definitely go back. I recommend it to everybody that plays.

I have enjoyed many rounds of golf on the Hills and the Dales courses. They are unigue and fun. Every interaction with their staff has been pleasant and helpful. I look forward to my next round!

Nice greens. Fairways are not the best, and holes are really close together. Short course so bring that iron game. 18th is a cool view and tee shot.

Great course. Good variety of hole options; wide open and tight. Grounds are kept up well. Only downside is the old carts they have.

Great course. Impeccably maintained and staff is very nice. The prices are reasonable and you dont have to be a member.
