Disappointing. You never know if the pool is going to be open or not. You can literally call before you leave home, be assured the pool is open, then arrive only to be told " it just closed". I understand the occasional emergency, but this has happened to us SO many times. Nothing more frustrating than showing up with a bunch of kids only to be turned away. Brenda at the front desk is particularly rude. Some customer service training would do her good. Additionally if you have a family greater than "4" this place is NOT financially, family friendly. Be prepared to pay for each additional child like the "inconvenience" that they apparently are. There is no true family membership here. Go to the Hospital Pool and Gym.. much better from every angle!

I joined the Rec Center for the first time and while the facility is amazing and the majority of staff are wonderful and very accommodating, I had a horrible experience from a Tim Plowman - who works at the Rec Center. He singled me out for not wiping down equipment (as I had just joined today and was not even informed!) yet others were not following the directive. While I really enjoy the facility, being singled out as the ONLY female using the machines, I felt discriminated against and it makes me want to cancel my membership.

Super clean. Great for all ages. Two indoor pools, including a large play pool and multi lane lap swimming pool. Indoor track for walking and jogging. Two full basketball courts. Volleyball , Racquetball courts and weights and exercise machines. Senior programs to kids programs . Friendly helpful staff. Offers everything from a day pass to annual membership. Awesome rec center. Everything is kept really nice and a great atmosphere for the kids. Most of the staff is great. Great kiddie pool. The only down side is the sharp turns on the track (makes it hard when running) and having the occasional disrespectful individual that decides to walk in the jogging lane while your trying to run.

Pool for kids has been closed 2 out of the 3 times we have visited. Also my daughter gets diarrhea every time we swim in the adult pool. So glad we didnt pay for a yearly membership before seeing how the place is run. Front desk staff is not helpful.

I used the pool for some exercise. It is perfect for that. I always check with them to make sure a group wont be using it. They open it up for water aerobics, school groups, etc.
