Susan is a ex severe druggy who doesnt know her head from her hind and has been lying almost a decade straight and I have proof considering I was one of the first seven employess ever hired there to lifeguard. Furthermore her head life guard jay is a lying snitch who has had his own agenda and secrets that have been laid to air facilitating the non rehire of many people with higher seniority then him aka justin gaeta and couple others wont name drop to many or id be just the same type of person as someone twice our age...wonder why he got head lifeguard when he wasnt even part of the original staff of hirees. And while were on the subject of head lifeguards what about the one before Jay, christian the one before swim coaches daughter whose husband was an engineer specializing in bridge development, literally choked a girl by the name of jennifer frey and left lesions and bruises around her neck on the clock in front of 4 staff memebers who all remained silent. All i have to say is they need more then just an audit here they need a complete revamp with real lifefuards like brian serio, aka enter the water gracefully pull out a 235 pound man and proceed correctly 100 out of 100 times, with ems experience, and truly has brought back 25 to 50 plus human beings from their deathbed, watched this with my own 2 eyes four times in one summer at fort de soto year 2004 both worked together, aka dont live off of propaganda, lies, deceit, and their own agendas. That place is made for community and its best interests not the staff but its politics right. Shake my head what a joke just figured the community of st pete beach should know the truth about what taxpayers spend their hard earned dollars on...and for all you naysayers that think this is fake ridicule i worked there for over 3 years and I know for a fact some of those people never thought their wrongdoings would come back to bite them but every single character posted here is true, might be hard to swallow but its 100 percent spot on! Last but not least youre lucky I was raised right Susan or i would laid your dirt to air years ago when you did what you did but i have a soul and know you loved that job and never needed it because hubby is more then well off so i let you keep your place of serenity, therefore just know it was someone half your age that acted double your age in valor and class these last 6 years because what I knew could have had you fired instantly at any point within the statue of limits at ANY GIVEN TIME AND I DIDNT.

So my fiancé and I were considering having our wedding and reception here but unfortunately our dates were already booked. We just happened to be in the area looking at another venue and we decided to go check this place out! I cant tell you how happy we were that we did! While walking around we ran in to Cory who I believe is the facilities manager there. He gave us the best impromptu tour we could have hoped for! The place is the perfect reception venue! There is so much space and a beautiful view and setting! The wedding coordinator Stephanie has also been an absolute pleasure to deal with. We still havent settled on a venue but after looking at this place we are seriously considering changing our date! Lastly this place books up quick so plan ahead!

So unorganized if you want to take lessons. I called to find out when and how to sign up my kids and they told me i could come down at anytime to sign up. I made a special trip down just to sign my girls up and they told me to come back the next day at 5pm. I work evenings so my mother went down to sign them up. When she got there the classes were full because sign up was at 7am. What a waste of time and effort. Looks like we will be using a different pool.

Fun little community pool. My 10 month old loved the shallow area with the sprinklers and my 3 year old daughter had a great time with the two slides. The place is clean and not overcrowded. I am not giving five stars because there was some miscommunication in regards to the open play hours and I just wished that open play time was a bit longer. We really enjoyed it and we will be back!

Great venue for meetings. Not too big so that you get lost; but big enough to accommodate big groups. One drawback, it seems their security and/or openness to the public is such that their equipment gets stolen and/or doesnt work on a regular basis. Such is life for a community center. Doesnt say much for the citizens of St. Pete Beach.

Amazing staff! The lifeguards are so well trained, especially the girls! so friendly, and genuinely the best Ive seen! A trip to the pool is never wasted at st. Pete beach rec!!

So happy at have this community center next to our home. I use the gym a few times a week. Probably the best view of any fun anywhere, too!

I take my kids to the pool on weekends and it is a really nice pool. You can bring in your own food and rafts. Very family oriented.
