A delightful Greensboro institution and must-visit when shows are being staged. Youll appreciate the deep well of talent that exists in the Gate City when watching adults and kids alike exhibit their acting chops on the cozy stage. Their annual staging of "The Wizard of Oz" is an elaborately staged production, replete with live orchestra, flying rigs and plentiful special effects. Other programs include theatre workshops for young and old and other educationally focused programming. Mitchell Somers -- the director of CTG -- is a local legend and is the genius behind the team that brings this enterprise to life.

Just saw "Avenue Q" and didnt know what we were in for - you guys - we have an INCREDIBLE Community Theater - did you know?! We had such a great time and I cant wait to come back for future shows. Small space, small company, and a BIG TIME. Highly recommend! So much talent!

CTG has something for everyone! Its always been a family tradition to see Wizard of Oz, and now with The Starr Theater we will have a full season of excitement! I would also encourage anyone with children to look into CTGs wonderful theatre education department.
