I have been coming here to see movies for 10+ years...the place sucks, save for the actual movie theatres. Its the closest IMAX theatre to me, so I dont have much choice. It used to be absolutely filthy and messy and dirty, but in recent years they actually made a LOT of changes. Its way cleaner now, the concession area is split into different areas with a place to wait for hot food in the back..but that doesnt excuse other issues. There used to be black specks on the walls that you would think was part of the wallpaper, but were actually flies. All of that is finally gone, thank god. However, the management is still terrible. They do next to nothing when problems occur--just ignore them. The food is honestly bad and not worth the money, save for popcorn(how can you mess up popcorn anyway though?) If customers have a problem, the management does next to nothing to help them. The lines are always incredibly long for tickets, or food. The staff is terrible at directing--there was one instance during the release of benjamin button that a hallway was so full of people waiting for the movie that fire marshalls were called two seperate times. Ive also been around to see someones car windows shattered in the parking lot---they got robbed, but there are no cameras out there, so the theatre couldnt do a single thing to help them but get an usher to sweep up all the glass. There was an instance where one of the creoles that work for the theatre found my neighbors phone, then used it to charge up tons of long distance calls on her bill! They dont employ very honest people! This one issue is what convinced me that the place is run horribly, though. I went to see Kung Fu Panda 3 on a weekend morning---which was my biggest mistake, as the people from the developmentally disabled home go to see movies at that time. The entire time in the theatre, there was some man yelling and screaming and running throughout the theatre, stomping his feet. (All the other people in the party were stomping their feet and making outcries too, but he was the only one running around.) An usher came in while this was going on to check the theatre, and did nothing. A bit angry, I went out and asked him to tell a manager what was going on in there and he said ok. Nothing ever happened past that--no one ever showed up. I had a friend in from upstate--this was my only day to spend time with her, and we wanted to see this movie. I cant get that back. The people who work here just dont care, and dont do their job. The bathrooms are also usually absolutely filthy, and Ive seen instances of men cleaning the womens bathroom.

I am a big fan of movies, especially in IMAX and this is the closest one to my home. Regal is a good operator and I am generally pleased with all their theaters but this one has been fairly recently renovated and is like a new theater. I am especially impressed with the manager, Rich, who was extremely professional and showed real concern for my experience when there was a problem with one of the nonIMAX theaters brightness. Apparently he has come up through the ranks at Regal and started his career as a projectionist so he takes the viewers experience very seriously. It is not something you see very often at movie theaters nowadays and it makes me go only to this multiplex if at all possible. I think he told me he was transferred from the midwest and he apparrently hasnt been hardened to the New York mentality yet and it shows. Their popcorn is also always fresh, something that is all to often not the case.

This was my 1st time visiting this location , I have to say sadly its NOT a place for BIG FAMILIES. Even while being a member of the Regal crown rewards program ---You cant even use the FREE tickets you earn from being a loyal customer at this location. If you buy your tickets on line, (discount website from my Job) when you get to the window there is an additional fee of $7.00 that needs to be paid per ticket...Now times that by 8, Not good! The cost to take my family to this theater was $110 thats without getting my kids popcorn and drinks!! It was a good 1st time experience but we wont be going back. Its NOT BIG FAMILY friendly. Ill continue to take my family to the UA Kaufman Astoria Stadium 14 & RPX (In Astoria Queens) They need to update the website and give more information to the public!! I even tried calling the phone to this location and NO ONE PICKED UP.

I love coming here for their discount Tuesday deal. Theater is usually very neat except for that time someone decided to stuff nachos and cheese into a seat side and it got all over my jacket. I sat with napkins on top of it while I watched the movie since I wanted to keep my seat. I told management after the screening so someone else doesnt sit in it but they kind of shrugged it off. The IMAX theater had such great sound and screen clarity that it makes the extra money worth it. But it doesnt have reclining seats because that would mess up the site lines. For a theater of this size, there never seems to be enough bathrooms. There are like less than 5 stalls in each of them.

My favorite movie theater I go here for probably 95% of the movies I see. They have the recliner seats now so you can order your tickets online and reserve your seat ahead of time so you dont have to worry about rushing to the theatre to get good seats. The only room without recliners is the IMAX room I guess i max is intended to be watched sitting up more. One other warning about the IMAX room is is not to sit in the front row of the upper level of seats because the view is obstructed and about 1/3 of the bottom of the screen is blocked. Other than that all seats are great and comfortable.

I tried to buy tickets at the window with my disabled daughter who has cerebral palsy and braces on both legs. The piece of crap at the window refused to sell me tickets for the disabled seats because "she is not in a wheelchair". My daughter was humiliated and I was infuriated. I explained he was wrong and only after making me ask again and again did he reluctantly sell me the tickets, but commented, "youre still not supposed to get them. Disabled seats are only for people in wheelchairs." He had no problem humiliating me and my daughter. Im still shaking in anger.

Movie theater was decent nothing out of the ordinary since I am an avid fan of the AMC theatre. There was a huge gap in my theater so the reservation seating was a bit deceiving because I was a lot closer to the screen than I thought. Now, the food and drinks are tremendously expensive. I went to go buy a large soda for $6.83. I gave the cashier my card and she swiped it around 4 times and ended up giving me a double charge on my bank account. These kinds of mistakes can not happen when dealing with customers. Very disappointed.

Left the theatre on corporate drive and came here. Much better experience. I have noticed when I order tickets I look at this theatre more often. Putting on my must check for times list. Fresh popcorn while on line, fast service, plenty of concession stand operators, great seats. Only drawback they dont have the multiple flavor self serve soda machines. Bonus, they have larger containers to hold drink and snacks. Nice upgrade to separate popcorn for those that like butter vs no butter.
