Fantastic preserved colonial village. Tours are SO informative, guides answer questions and really love hiatory, and its a full history--things like slavery are not sanitized. Such a great historic treasure. Check website for special events like Juneteenth, Cider Festival, Revolutionary War re-enactments.

Our guide had broad and deep knowledge about the Huguenot settlers and their lives. The interiors of the buildings are now restored and they provide an excellent view of life in America in the late 1600s - early 1700s. We had a great time, and learned a lot.

Absolutely amazing history about the founding of New Paltz. A true hidden gem in the Hudson Valley. To see a true colonial village so intact is incredible. The cemetery has graves that date back to the 1600s. Definitely worth a visit and its FREE!!!!!!!!!

Small street with a couple of historic buildings. Worth a short walk if you are in the area. Some of the houses have original bases but have been enlarged over time

The street is not long, but pretty interesting, we got a nice walk including the trail in the forest. There are signs warning about ticks, but we didnt get any
