Elegant and dignified design in the heart of Stamford signalling the end of Urban Renewal and its none too soon. The views of the city unfold as you walk along and the ancient Mill Rover is a completely natural event with native plantings throughout. For those out there who attended the University of Pennsylvania, you can recognize the signature features of the prevailing Philadelphia landscape design. And the landscape architects who designed the park, who are so influential in Manhattan. For a city like Stamford that is undergoing even bigger projects in the South End right now, the park is perfect.. The best view is at the head of the park along Broad Street where the building by Arthur Collins in the 1980"s has a now-appropriate formality and modern presence. There ts much to look forward to as the park slowly grows and matures.

The park has really gotten revamped and there seems to be a continuous effort to do so. Its right in the heart of Stamford downtown and has a full summer calendar for kids and adults alike from puppet shows to open theater movies. The kids area is adequately equipped too.

Really nice park for walking and jogging, the path follows the river and has a nice view especially being downtown. Volunteered at the playground twice, and they also just put in a carousel and snack bar open weekends

This place used to be nice, but... people having alcohol everywhere. A young guy around 22 tried stealing my chairs a couple of days ago, so sad :(
