Good for pups to go and play. Make all of Long Island pet friendly fight for it people. Happy dogs equal happy people equal good Long Island not bad Long Island. Keep your dog off the bike path! Will get ticketed and youll have to pay Long Island to keep you away from their parks!! Blah blah blah

I love this place to take the dogs to hike. Just avoid going after rains because the secondary trails get seriously muddy, otherwise it is a wonderful place to enjoy some hours immersed in nature. A plus, it is very close to home.

Sometimes you need to find a place that feels like your escaping from suburbia. This is one of those places. Walk around the lake, look at the geese and swans, explore some trails, or ride your bike around and enjoy the nature.

The kids love the new playground and running around on the bandstand. Its also fun to walk down to the lake to see the ducks. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is that they removed the same box.

Great park with beautiful paved walking trail, or take a walk on the dirt path with your dog. Flat trails, very easy. Beautiful all year long. This is my favorite park in Nassau County.
