I am 11 years old this was my first visit to this movie theater with my family. We were going to watch the Peanut movie. My mother bought the tickets early this would ensure we had a seat. We arrived at 4;30 for the 5:00 movie. We went inside by 4:45 and was told we had to leave my father asked the male usher why he stated you have to go back outside and get on a line if you dont you wont get in to see the movie. My father explained to this guy that we were outside and there is no line everyone is coming inside and we saw him taking tickets from other customers to go into theater room 2 as were to go into this same room. My father asked to speak to the manager. However, before that you had a very loud lady come out yelling if you dont go outside and wait on the line you will not be able to come inside and watch the movie. We did go outside and but there was no line again everyone was already inside be seated to prepare to watch the movie. I begin to feel some type of way. My parents always tell my sister and I the truth. I asked my mother are we being discriminated against. She stated yes, I didnt like this feeling. I told my father dont say anything else to any of this staff. I dont feel comfortable being here and i want to leave. I watch the manager snatch tickets out of my fathers hand and yell at him i giving you your money back come back another time you wont watch the movie her today. She was rude and unpleasant. I believe she said her name was Kiara. The staff was rude and behind the counter is dirty. Popcorn on the floor, greasy counter,Instead of yelling at the customers they need to clean behind the counter.

Its a great place to bring your family in. The mangers and workers are always great. They are fast and efficient! For those who complain about the checking of bags its just protocol for your safety and others. You never know who might be allergic to the food you bring in. And people dont clean after themselves if they do bring food which cause the theaters to stink. Nobody wants to smell like your lunch or dinner. Also a person may have a weapon. Its not about being greedy. If you are hungry eat outside before movie starts. The prices are much cheaper than manhattan so no complaints here. Arrive early if you know its a new movie if you want seats. Asked the ushers or people at concession stand if the line will be inside or outside so you know. You can purchase your tickets at the machines. And it does help to get tickets and concessions at the same time it makes things go quicker and you can head straight to your movie. If you want respect give respect! The staff and mangers are cool but if your rude expect it back! We all have jobs where we work with difficult customers at times dont be that customer please be patient.

Has a nice local vibe. Manager is a really cool, chill guy and has been there since it opened. He goes above and beyond to make the experience better for customers. Its rare to have a personal and lasting experience like that at a multiplex. Often multiplexes feel very anonymous and you havent the foggiest idea who the manager is. Theaters are pretty nice and the space is very clean and modern. There are a some common multiplex problems that are present here. Projection is good but not great (probably only someone like myself would notice) and there are a some badly located seats at the edges, so you have to arrive early for more popular movies, which means you get to sit through long featurettes about terrible TV cop dramas youre never going to watch. But seats are comfortable, with spacious aisles. But the location is great and there are a fair number of indie and less than mainstream fare thrown in the mix.

Went here a couple times it was really good for the most part but what im hearing about bad popcorn and not allowed to bring food in... Just to play it safe and have a nice time eat before you go, if u would like to bring a snack in keep it in your pocket instead of your bag because apparently they check bags and dont allow outside food. But honestly i go to the movies to watch the movie and hang out with friends and or be on a date so we eat before we go and i can just put a bag of skittles in my back pocket and i am good to go for the whole movie. All in all i like this new movie theater its close and not crowded like the city and the chairs are very comfy, soft and relaxing. Ladies and Gentleman dont stress little things and bring a bad name to our community if u think its such a big deal u cant bring food into the theater EAT BEFORE YOU GO, and sit back and enjoy the movie you have been dying to see.

This place is always packed. The theaters are really cramped and small ( about 1/4 the size of a normal theater). I went to see a movie on a wed night that had been out for 3 weeks. We bought the tickets and candy. Went into the theater 45 min before the movie started. The place was already full, only seats in the very front row. I asked the manager for a refund. He rudely said he would only give me a credit that lasted a month. We tried to see another movie 2 weeks later, showed up. They had posted the wrong times on their site! The movie had already started an hour beforehand and no more showings for that night. We never wound up using our credit. What a waste! $4 water bottles, this place is greedy and totally taking advantage of being only mainstream theater in Williamsburg. Dont waste your time.

Great no frills movie theater. Last night was my second time there, they have multiple electronic kiosks where you can purchase tickets if you are paying with a card, so I didnt have to wait at all. The concessions line moves quickly and I got a large coke and a large popcorn for $10 (great price). Regular tickets are $12 but every Tuesday and Thursday tickets are $9, as well as matinees on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The theater stays well lit until the show starts so you can tell that your seat is clean. The bathrooms were very clean compared to most movie theaters Ive been to! My only complaint is that they have all the popcorn pre bagged which keeps the line moving but the first time I went my popcorn was kind of stale.

We went to the 330 pm, show is beauty and the beast, the place is pretty clean chould be better, the seat are not to good, need better seats, but the staff, are cool as hell, Noah at the front door cool dude.. the girls at the food court, where fast and good, but the food sucks, hotdog nasty, the pretzel bites, sucked, cold and too much salt, the nachos where hard and tasted old, thk good I brang my own candy.. soda was fine.. the price on the tickets and food where not to bad, just need to step in up on the food, this is why most of the time we go the Astoria to the movies, plus we get points going out there, willamsburg cinema need some kind of point system.. but for a fast movie, its ok..
