Ok as an american man I came here with my Ukraine girlfriend and her friends ! At first looks very posh ( wow looks beautiful ) until you sit down and really look around carpets, walls very dirty looking ! Mens bathroom is disgusting a travesty!!!!! All white walls , floors but the smell the stench is horrendous!!!! The look of the place is very old style and dirty looking needs to be upgraded they have plastic chandeliers very cheap looking ! Ok now the waiter older man ( arkadia ) in a rush and has plenty of attitude ! Didnt see him much a good waiter checks up on customers ! But he made sure he was around to get an extra tip from us ! They automatically charge 10 % not bad but he wanted more saying look american restaurant charge is 18-20 % ! Now for the food ( OVER PRICED ) the salads we had tasted so much better then our entrees ! Beef stroganoff tender meat but too much salt , chicken shis kabobs were delicious, salmon steaks small portions greasy and very salty ! Mashed potatoes was like eating a raw potato no flavor at all and I didnt want to add more salt to my meal ! With my meal my side veggies was 2 mushrooms, 1 piece of broccoli, 1 piece hard cauliflower ! So my friends and I opinions are food terrible ( sucks ass ) . Music was mostly Russian and Ukraine no problem but when they played american music people danced as well ! Play more ! Sound system / DJ several noticeable errors ! Dancers are not in sync with each other very unprofessional, costume changes was nice ! Over all honestly I would NOT GO BACK ! OVER PRICED BAD FOOD BAD ATTITUDE AND GREED FROM ARKADIA he actually asked several times to my Ukraine women friends you must give me tip !

The oldest standing classic Russian restaurant on Brighton Beach aka "Little Odessa". This place has been around since at least the 80s although has seen quite a few renovations/modernizations. Nevertheless it is still a relic of the era its from: large banquet space and regal decor make you feel as youre dining in a Tsars mansion... until the music starts playing, consisting almost exclusively of the top dance and disco hits of the early 90s completely with over the hill "dancers" and "singers" on stage. Still, the dance floor is vast, the food tasty and plentiful and the alcohol endless -- all the ingredients one needs to fully enjoy the Russian restaurant experience. BYOB friendly.

Food was ok but the way they do business is really shady. When I got the bill from the server he said the 10% extra charge was gratuity and then after 2 minutes he came back and said that 10% was actually the charge for the venue. WTF??! And when he saw me not buying it he claimed that the surcharge is the gratuity but for the busboys only. Please people get your story straight, you are clearly reaping people off. And dont even get me started with the lady at the coat check. She clearly has no clue what she is doing and is extremely rude. Not the best way to end the night, especially when you were overcharged by shady and misleading servers and owners.

A wonderful restaurant! Its very elegant, and unobtrusive. Good and cozy atmosphere, kind and always smiling staff and delicious food. Always good mood that remains after visits this establishment, makes you come back there again and again !!! Had an absolute blast!!! Its always crowded and Russian patrons come dressed up. Dont wear casual clothes, you will feel out of it. This is the perfect place to meet friends and celebrate a birthday or a meeting on another occasion. The owner is nice and very accommodating. The restaurant also provides photographer if requested. You would have to visit to believe!!! Great job!!!

Я нічого хорошого від старого стилю російського ресторану не очікував, але виявилося, що це більше, ніж український російський і всі страви були досить пристойно і атмосфера, як правило, отримувати задоволення. Повинен відвідати для тих, хто розуміє, їсти, пити, танцювати.

Came to National for New Years celebration. We absolutely loved the great food, service was pretty good too. Entertainment program was quite mediocre though - very few actual New Years songs, mostly same stuff they always play, and improvising dancers that seemed convulsing on stage. The worst part was the lady at the coat check - Helen (not sure if thats her actual name) was EXTREMELY RUDE and impolite, ruining the whole experience and leaving people ask the same question: "what is wrong with her?" Not the best way to start and end the night.

HATED IT! Food was so awful. 3 people ate with me and all of us got sick. I wanted plain tap water and they brought me bitter seltzer tasting water, charged me after I told them it was awful. They played this game of bringing sparkling water and REFUSED me tap water. Finally I took my cup to the bathroom and got WATER. I did not leave a tip, since the water bill was $21. DO NOT EAT HERE=place should be closed down by the board of HEALTH

Food garbage, most staff werent fresh, service maybe 3 stars, music so so, felt kind of disrespeced with all the UKRANIAN slogans, felt like im in other 3rd world country. Was awfully hot in there, we asked to turn on the AC and were told that people at other table were cold. Literally were suffocating in there. Place is nothing but the name.

Absolutely weird place. From one side you will very good service and well furnished restaurant here, from other side their food is absolutely awful! And they have the highest price for it! Amazing. We had company company of 4 and nobody liked dishes (salmon, lamb chops, duck liver and steak as well as all salads). Wont come back.

The Lamb Kabob was great; the salmon salad was great, and the vodka was smooth. As an added treat, the live soloist sang a variety of American pop songs as well as Russian and Ukranian favorites. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star rating is that the dynamic stage lighting was a little cheesy.

Definitely an experience, went to a friends birthday here. The food was delicious Russian cuisine. The live show had lots of singing and dancing, and was a real riot. The audience got called up to dance a bunch as well. Looking forward to the next birthday here!

First time going and I like the crowd. The music is awesome and the bartenders are good! But the only thing I dont like is the heavy smoking! Too many pp smoking weed , other then that I enjoyed myself!
