Awesome time and great tour guide! Pros: great information about neighborhoods and trends happening from real estate to latest eats places, our guide was full of answers to all of my husbands answers, it wasnt just a bike tour as we made a couple stops at some local gems that I would have never found on my own, the staff was really helpful considering I dont know much about bike riding and they helped me setup my seat and get me comfortable with this type of bike Cons: we did a sunset tour and once the sun dropped so did the temperature. Lucky for me, I always get cold so I had a little sweater with me which was perfect but Id plan to bring one if you do a sunset tour too. Honestly, everything else was pretty awesome and I felt safe the whole time.

Theyre not exaggerating when they say the Brooklyn Bike Tour will be the highlight of your stay in NYC. The good experience started with an email exchange with Filipe about some of the details of the trip. His response was quick and thorough. The day of the ride (March 2016), we got lucky with a beautiful day to ride around. We enjoyed the afternoon and certainly saw parts of Brooklyn we wouldnt have seen on our own, and learned details about current-day Brooklyn as well as some details about how it came to be. What a great trip. We would certainly do it again...as fast as Brooklyn is changing, the trip will be different the next time were in NYC. Thanks Filipe.

We took the 3,5h Brooklyn Vibe Tour, which was great. The staff at the shop were very nice, the bikes were in good shape and easy to ride. The pace of the tour was easy cruise speed, with many stops. The stops at Fine & Raw chocolate factory and Ovenly Bakery were very nice. Big thumbs-up for our guide Dahlia, who gave us initiated insights into the street art scene and start-ups in Bushwich, the "Hipster" quarters in Greenpoint and the Hasidic Jewish community in Williamsburg, mixed with her own experience of everyday life in NYC. One of the best memories from our week i NY.

What a great way not only to see the heart of New York but also get to know this city! Filipe provides a fantastic tour that is exciting, fun, safe, educational and delicious! New York is such a jungle of a city, doing this tour orientated us and provided us with ideas of things to do and explore further during our stay here. It doesnt matter if you are stopping by NYC for a short or a long stay make sure to Get Up and Ride as this will make you feel like a local and make your whole trip so much more fulfilling.

Did the Brooklyn tour with Felipe on Monday and it was just fabulous. We went all over Brooklyn and he was really great at tailoring what we saw to our interests. I loved the street art of Bushwick and the tacos of Dumbo! Also, as it was 34 degrees I was able to fulfill a childhood dream-running through a water fountain fully clothed! Felipe was extremely knowledgeable about Brooklyn and NYC and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. Dont go to Bloomingdales, Get Up and Ride!!!!

We rented bikes For the two of us and for our 11 and 16 year old daughters at Get up and ride. We are very satisfied and excited about completing our 40 km tour around Manhattan and Brooklyn, one of the best data on our NYC-vacation. The bikes were of high quality, functioning helmets and really good service at the store. We also want to thank for the tips on nice places to visit in Bushwick and Williamsburg. Well be back! - Mats & Helene

The best guided tour I ever attended, and a perfect way to get to know Brooklyn. Pn great bicycles the tour went through Williamsburg, Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights. Our guide knew his neighbourhoods very well and was guiding us over the Icom during the entire trip. The roof top grange was the highlight of the tour with an astonishing view of Manhattan skyline, vegetables, plants, beehives and chicken. Most warmly recommended.

This absolutely had to be the worst tour I have ever been on. The lady who was the tour guide used the "F" word I dont know how many times. Gave information on an artist and one of his experiences and it was so vulgar so I would not repeat it. Very few historical facts but plenty talk about where to party. It was the most unprofessional, uninformed tour I have ever been on. I wouldnt recommend stay clear of this place

It was an excellent tour! We have seen Brooklyn in a full spectrum - from a working class neighbourhoods to ethnic communities districts to chic fancy arrondissement. Our guide made a fantastic job by telling us the history of the place, bringing us to the hidden gems of Brooklyn and finally, showing the best coffee and pizza of the neighbourhood. It was awesome! We would definitely recommend it!

Ive taken tours and rented bikes from Get UP and Ride, every time its been a fantastic experience. Their guides are passionate about Brooklyn, the bikes are in great shape and the folks at the shop are inviting and friendly. The tours actually come with walkie-talkies and headsets which is a great way to hear what the guide says. All in all, I highly recommend a ride with them. DO IT!

I always try to take a bike tour when visiting new places, so Brooklyn was no exception. Felipe was a fabulous guide, giving a really good insight into what makes Brooklyn such an interesting place and a great place to visit. Relaxed vibe, friendly people, gentle cycling, good bikes, interesting route - couldnt have asked for more from this tour. Thank you!

Ive been a repeat customer to Get Up and Ride in Brooklyn and can say from the heart that this is the BEST way to see the Borough! As a local Ive gotten to know my own neighborhood much better through the tours offered, and its always a must do activity when friends and relatives come into town!!!

I went on a Williamsburg brunch bites tour with my mom. Both of us loved it! Our tour guide knew the neighborhoods history as well as the reasons for the cultural shift it is currently going through. Other people on the tour were from all over Europe and the U.S. Oh, cant forget, you get food!

James was awesome!!! He did an excellent job talking about the history of New York. The bike tour was amazing, no up hill. Stopped at some local watering holes for snacks. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations!

Great Brooklyn tour. May be a bit on the pricy side for what you get, but the experience is unique. Tour guide is knowledge. The biking experience is very fun and not physically straining for about 95% of the ride.

Fantastic day out! My friend and I bought tickets to do the Bronx Tour which included bbq and a beer brewery. Great way to see the city and really good value. The tour guides were lovely and super helpful.
