Building 92 houses the Brooklyn Navy Yards visitor center and museum. The recently renovated building consists of 2 parts. A restored historic building and an addition. It is one of the few places in the Navy Yard accessible to the general public. The museum has exhibits about the history of the yard, the role it has taken up in Brooklyn today, and houses original artifacts. It is a popular meeting spot for tours. Additionally, there is an outdoor garden and gift shop.

This is My favorite place in the Navy yard with all the historical things you can see in there museum and also a place that looks forward in finding ppl a job placement within and out of the yard. If you have kids there is a place in the building call construction kids its so amazing, your kids learns wood shop skills makes skate boards from the ages 5and older I think. You can even throw events on there rooftop level just a amazing place I Love It.....

3 floors. free to enter. nice quiet place. I learned a lot of the navy history at this place. Make sure to call before you plan a visit they have private schools coming there. There is a drink shop on the rooftop where you can enjoy the nice view outside on the roof.

We went here as part of the open house New York event. Fascinating Museum of Brooklyn Navy Yard with interesting exhibits, films, etc. It was too cold to go explore the grounds the day we were there. Would totally go back again when its warmer

Museo pequeño pero muy interesante (y gratuito) sobre los Navy Yards, los antiguos astilleros de Brooklyn. Buena parada para conocer un poco más de la historia de Brooklyn.
