A disappointing/embarrassing experience b/c of one staff, Billy, "one of the managers" not an owner, who stated he did not know who the owner was when asked and all as my family was coming in for a Fathers Day & birthday celebration as well as other staff listening. I called yesterday (Sat) twice, the first rep (Redman) said to speak to the owner if I was allowed to bring cake and 2nd call, the owner (Gus who I somehow confused for Harry somehow) said OK as long as I promise not to make a mess and no other outside food, $10/pitcher and $8/pp/per game, nothing about booking a party and extra cost. I came prepared with garbage bags & table cloth, etc, no outside food as instructed. However, Billy said that the price $20pp for one game, one slice & soda. He did not research anything I said to at least attempt to verify and said because he is there that is the rule and would not honor the verbal agreement. We stayed, ordered food ($98 worth) and played 2 games. Although there were a couple of balloons and a postcard that was being filled out left on the table and I rated 1 star while there, Billy started questioning and taking pics contradicting saying he let us have a party to dispute my rating and will contact Google. The other staff (Anisa, Crystal, Roc, & evening girls) were really nice and stated the owner has made exceptions in the past, etc., that we could wait for him to come but Gus did not and turned out to be Billys father (Happy Fathers Day Gus). Billy was more interested in the poor rating, looking for me than what I had to say when I came in to "enforce the rules" when there was no lies and not trying to get one over. He lied and did not offer quality customer service though in his nonchalant, indifferent demeanor posting to signs that rules are posted to cover himself. With all due respect to staff and rules, just those moments in the beginning & end with Billy was disappointing though made the best out of the circumstances. Unfortunately, if more with encounters similar to this, I imagine it will drive away more customers and lose business that way.

Decent bowling alley for NYC especially when you consider the price $8/game per person. That beats the $50 in the City. The only minuses are the location (in the middle of nowhere and not remotely close to the Metro) and the facts that: 1) its cash only 2) there is no ATM inside. With that said be prepared with cash-on-hand or have to walk Down a sketchy street to the local gas station and use one of those portable ATMs. The food was ok (pricey) but they only had 3 things of the list of foods : wings, pizza, nachos = good enough. Skip the bar, the drinks are small. Just get a pitcher of beer or bottled/can drinks if you need to wet your whistle

Went on Christmas day. There was quite a bit of parking. The place was clean and family friendly. The most impressive part was their new bowling kiosks. Small and sleek touch screen tablets that have different bowling animation themes. Available stats for those who want to get better at their game. Over all great experience. Unfortunately they were extremely under staff so food orders were slow but the young lady working there (Charlene I believe..) was fantasticlly handling every post. Calm and with a smile which really brought my experience together and helped make it a great night.

Horrible service. I tried to get a beer at the bar and no bottles were cold. I spent $8 on a warm run and coke in a Dixie cup with ice that was already melting. Each time I ordered a drink the bartender had to leave the bar area to get change. Later, while bowling, I ordered a $15 pitcher and was told that the whole group had to come back to show their IDs again to get cups...We are all ages 30-60... All they had to eat was pizza and nachos, the nachos were stale. I will say that the man that checked us in and gave us shoes was great. Such a nice guy...But I will never go back

They gave me a HUGE problem at the bar. Im 21 and I gave my ID to the lady at the bar. She then denied me because it was vertical and not horizontal. She said it was because it stated "under 21 UNTIL August 5, 2016". Even though there was proof of me being 21 she still denied me just because it wasnt horizontal. I was confused. I even showed her my passport card that had my date of birth (August 5, 1995) and she still denied me. Thats the first time Ive ever experienced that in my life at a bar. She didnt know what she was doing and should be terminated.

Nice little bowling alley for the prices. There are only two gripes that I have about this place. If youre not driving to this place, walking to it is a bit of a walking distance from the bus or the train because no public transportation leaves you close to this place. Also, it is Cash only to play (no debit or credit cards are accepted to play) and no ATMS are available to take out cash, so you need to come with cash ready! Other than that the place is great for family and friends to have fun.

I warned my family not to come here for a nice fathersday and of corse i was right.Nachos were stale and the pizza tasted as if it was reaheated from the day before! But the cherry on top to this bad experience was the employe billy. He was rude and horrible at his job has no respect even when talked to nice and respectfully. Even the employes working there said he was an a****le. Do not go to this place!!!! P.s. I hope billy reads this and the manager.

Worst manager in the game Billy. Is not about the customer service for him. Is about the rules he makes . Empty lanes and wouldnt let me do a league style. After offering to buy 6 games at cost. Also didnt want to honor my league member card, saying this is not Bowlmor. This palace use to be the best place to take my daughter, now I will never take her to any of the private own gun hill or now Bowlerland. Happy I no longer live in the Bronx.

very old bowling alley that is still in the process of being updated. still CASH ONLY!!! but the improvements the owner made to the bowling lanes and machines are money well spent, not if they would except cards, get new balls, replace the pool cues, update the food menu, get more events going at the bar(Which is also nice just empty), and finally renovate the bathrooms then it would be a dope spot since there is tons of parking outside.

Not the best n not the worst. This bowling alley is clean n kept up. Nice personnel. The lanes are well kept. But its in the middle of no where. The balls has the smallest holes possible....I mean a12,13 n 14lb ball has no hole bigger than a medium opening. Youll have to bowl w a 15lb ball to get a large or extra large hole. Crazy. My fingers cant take it. Nice for kids I guess, but not for me anymore.

It was great experience. Couple friends and I paid 20 for unlimited Pizza and bowling with shoes included. Cant beat that price anywhere if youre looking to bowl for hours. Although the food and drinks were kind of overpriced, they need to make their money somehow if Im having unlimited Pizza and bowling for 6 hours. I bought a pitcher for $10. Thank you for the great experience. I will be back.
