I attended a Sunday afternoon show at QPAC. It was called Tony Danza , Standards and Stories, on Sun. Sept. 18, 2016. I sat in the Mezzanine. I had a good seat. I was able to enjoy the entire show, as the audience was great. At no time did any audience member stand up and block my view of the show. I was able to hear the music and watch the show. I am a fan of Tony Danza, as I have watched him on the TV shows Taxi and Whose the Boss. It was a great show as Tony Danza sang for us. Tony also told us stories about the old days. I would recommend seeing this show at QPAC. The shows here are convenient because you do not have to travel to Manhattan. You can see a show in Queens and relax.

Weve seen so many wonderful shows over the years. Each season brings diverse choices to suit everyones taste, AND at prices that are really affordable. The seats are comfy, and as far as I can tell, the stage is unobstructed from every view. The acoustics are excellent. I was able to fulfill a life-long dream there - seeing Bernadette Peters LIVE. What a show that was! As an older person its difficult getting into Manhattan by subway and car service costs a fortune. Having a place like QPAC, which presents quality shows at reasonable prices and is so easy to get to, is a godsend.

Beautiful venue with absolutely NO obstructions. Celebrity entertainment including Michael Bolton, Bernadette Peters, Dionne Warwick, David Cassidy, Robert Klein, Patti LuPone, KC & The Sunshine Band and many others. Affordable tickets, free parking, helpful staff. Please note that this venue can be rented to outside organizations. The negative reviews on this site were written in response to events held by independent organizations that rented this theater. These reviews do NOT reflect the professional series produced in-house by the venue.

Ive attended many wonderful shows at Queensborough, each one excellent and very memorable. It is a lovely venue with easy parking and comfortable, cozy seating. My favorite shows (just to name a few) were Joan Rivers, Blood Sweat and Tears, Marilyn Mc Coo and Billy Davis, Artrageous, Tony Danza and Vanessa Williams. All supper professional and intimate. No need to fight the traffic into the city or pay crazy prices to park at other local venues. Queensborough is always a reliable fun time.

We have enjoyed many shows at QPAC especially this season when several stand out. I dont follow ballet but the athleticism and graceful energy of the corps in Swan Lake was impressive; Vanessa Williams wonderful talents expressed in diverse musical genres, and "Lights, Camera, Music" was fabulous. The symphony orchestra and the two featured singers performed a very creative program. In conclusion, we are fortunate to have the caliber of shows performed locally at reasonable prices.

We saw "In the Mood". A Big Bands era show. OUTSTANDING!!! The show was unbelievable. I cannot believe I can see such a fantastic performance for such a low price. $40.00. It would cost that much just to GET to Manhattan. Every seat is a great seat. The staff are friendly and helpful. I brought my 93 year old Mom. We both loved it. And its not the first show weve seen there. I talk up the QCC shows every chance I get. Just try one. Youll be hooked!

I have enjoyed numerous shows at QPAC. Each one is thoroughly professional , with high quality performers and a fine venue where every seat in the house is a good one! I used to travel into Manhattan to attend the opera, a ballet or a Broadway performance. Now, I avoid the hassle of traffic, parking and overpriced tickets, and simply shoot over to QPAC for all of these forms of top shelf entertainment.

So far my Grandson & I have seen 3 of your shows this season & its hard to say which we enjoyed most. The Mind show was boggling, The Hong Kong Circus acts of skill & daring were extraordinary, but the Christmas Carol was the best Christmas production weve ever seen. Parking only steps away from the theater really helps. Keep them coming.

It has the rudest staff ever. We were there last night for an Iranian well known singer performance and a guy showed up in the stage in the middle of the last song and started yelling that you should leave now! it wasnt even polite ! Even it was 5 minutes sooner than the ending time!

I recently saw Maurice Hines at QPAC. As with every show I have attended at this venue, it was wonderful. He is the consummate performer. Funny, engaging and so incredibly talented. His singing, dancing and story telling made for a very enjoyable afternoon.

We recently saw Vanessa Williams at QPAC. The show was wonderful. The seats were excellent and the ticket prices were affordable. I will definitely be coming back to see more shows. Easy free parking and very close to the Cross island parkway.

Great place to see a show. No bad seats in a comfortable setting. I have enjoyed all the shows I have seen there. Refreshments are sold and are reasonably priced. One issue, no elevator to the balcony but even the balcony seats are great.

We saw "Lights, Camera, Music" this afternoon. The show was delightful. The Astoria Symphony Orchestra led by Silas Huff was fabulous. The singers added so much to the event with their beautiful voices. What great entertainment!!!!!!!

We generally attend between 3 and 6 shows a year. We have found the shows to be entertaining. Many of them are shows we cannot see any place else. The seats are comfortable and the stage can be seen from all over the theater.

Susan Agar (probably spelled wrong} and the theater staff are a delight. All the shows (5 in 2016-17) that we have seen were entertaining and well worth the money for this senior and we look for next seasons offerings.
