Great little out of the way double theater with decent seats situated under the overpass 2 blocks North of ShopRite. Youd never know its here even when looking for it I was in disbelief. No free parking but pay metered parking available further down the block on both sides for a few blocks near the bus yards. Parking runs about a dollar an hour. Butter is serve yourself off to the side near theater 1 so sneak in your own bag from home for super saver points ;) just kidding though, butter crime is a real problem. Speaking of cheap the early shows here are that.

Great location, super clean movie theater with friendly staff. Street parking usually available in the area for those driving, either free 4-hour or municipal pay. For many, this is a walkable location as well. Downstairs and upstairs theaters, including restrooms on each level. $6 Super Tuesdays, all movies all day, which is a great deal. Well run/operated and can buy tickets through Fandango. Features most/all new movies, including childrens, and in 3D where applicable. All around an excellent choice for your cinema excursion!

Regular cinema tickets are only $7 all day on Tuesdays! Come about 10-15 minutes before show starts on Tuesday evenings, especially for more popular, highly rated movies because the good seats fill up fast. Parking is very difficult to find per usual for Hoboken. We walk to this small theater or take an Uber when its raining or snowing. Clean, friendly staff, and typically patronized by considerate people.

As far as movie theaters go, this one is pretty good. The options in the Hoboken area are not great, but for a small theater, this one is decent. Its clean, the seats are comfortable and maintained well. But most of all, the sound and picture are great. Not too loud, not too soft... Just right. They actually care what the movie-going experience is.

Bow Tie Cinema in Hoboken, NJ is not a huge sprawling theater but, thats okay. Its a low-key, quaint, theater experience, in a nice neighborhood. Seats are comfortable and the theater rooms arent large at all but, thats not a bad thing either. This theater may want to think about investing a little more in their interior, itll pay off, for sure.

Pretty good theatre. Nice seats that have a little lean to them. Tickets are easy to buy through Fandango and pick up in the theatre. Like any theatre showing recent movies these days, its expensive and the concessions are even worse. Theyre not too strict on checking for outside snacks though...

Not too good of a theater. Sure, the texture and seats may be luxurious, but the service is really bad. And they have no electronic ticket machines! Thats the worst part! Food is so-so. The popcorn, however, is delicious. Other than that, Id rather go to AMC Theaters and Regal.

This is a wonderful theater that has a great selection of all of the newest movies. The seats are very comfortable and are made of leather. The popcorn tatsed great and they had a vast amount of other items to choose from. Some of the seats did show their age though.

My daughter and I walk from Union City to this theater because its comfortable, clean, and the service is good. However, the timetablea for the last few big films has very limited 3D viewings. How Underpants has 3D and Pirates doesnt makes ZERO sense to me.

Love the theater, super-clean, great staff. BUT the previews nearly made me deaf!!! SO LOUD. Why why why-oh-why on gods green earth would you make anything that loud?! Ugh. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience. And I used to like previews.

The theatre looks the other way on smoking. On two separate occasions I have been at this theatre when people were smoking in the back. Smoke builds up and ruins the theatre experience. Manager says he really cant do anything about it.

Not a lot of people know this place and I think we should keep it that way and "protect" it :p. The crowd here is very classy, the place is neat & conveniently located and is much preferable to any other places close-by in Jersey area.

been here plenty of times. staff is great, service is above par considering it is a small theater. food is as good as larger theaters. wish they had more movies here but on block busters you can always get a ticket to see it here.

Its really nice to have a theater in Hoboken that is easily accessible, clean, and showing the latest films. Prices are reasonable (Tuesdays are $6 discount movie night) and the staff is friendly.

Family owned, reasonably priced and very well maintained!! Our fav cinemas to go to. Wish the parking situation was little more organized, on a good day street side parking is easy though.

Great place to come to watch movies , the Snacks are priced fair. and the seats are amazing. Definitely a great place to bring the family. Tuesday is there special price movie night.

We love this place. Clean, great popcorn, plenty of movie choices, staff is friendly. Never had an issue with crowds on weekends, even at first run shows. Keep up the good work !

This theatre has a great selection of movies, VERY clean and comfortable and almost never over crowded.. And the popcorn is always fresh. Cant ask for much more.

Comfortable stadium seating, and located in an area where you can get parking. Only complaint is that the sound quality is slightly underwhelming.

The theater is small and usually not too crowded--bigger movies garner bigger crowds. On Tuesdays, they offer $6 tickets (slightly more for 3-D)!
