I been supplying my aquariums here for years now, having started with a very large (150gallons) freshwater aquarium and with the help, support and patience of the store owner, I have moved up to a 100 gallon salt water aquarium as well! Thats two big ones for a gal with only a Berra! Now I love the hobby and have yet to go to another aquarium store more than once to be disappointed in the last five years! Ive made mistakes and even cried on an unnamed staff members shoulder once and the poor guy still was able to help and does every time!!! PLEASE COME CHECK IT OUT!!!! They lierally have more species than the Atlantic City aquarium and super cool stuff like several types of sea anenome, sea apples, starfish, AMAZING CORAL already big or tiny fragments, many hard to find fish and yes Nemo and Dori are there too! Thats just the saltwater side! Freshwater fish of all shapes and sizes! II often bring the kids intending to just look because its super neat to see but most times I come out with something. Affordable cool fish that glow neon and super high pricey but worth it beauties like the clown trigger my husband and I saved for and is the pride of our tank at six or seven inches! Even if you live an hour or more away, if its your hobby or just an interest, its worth coming. Every staff member is knowledgeable and is able to answer any question Ive ever come up with! I promise I dont work there, nor have they asked me to give Any review! In fact Ive spent a thousand or more bucks of my hard earned money at the best fish store in New Jersey! Didnt even know I was into fish but browsing the store and realizing its not hard at all like they say, just takes a couple months of daily attention and a little work then once its settled (Im talking salt water)you only need to feed, daily, test weekly and make adjustments as needed. I often sit and watch either tank like TV!

I have been going to this fish store since I was a little girl with my Mom, I am now 26 and still love the fish the people and the great expertise you can find there, I come and go for different fish, tanks, and now turtles and me and my sister and mother absolutely love going there. Fair prices, great guidance on pet care and budgeting, and really beautiful healthy fish. I had a fish for years I bought there when I was young and when I was a teenager and had to move I had to sell the fish back is how long it lived.

Whenever I buy freshwater fish I usually lose one or two the first two weeks. Figured it was the norm so I buy a lot at a time. When buying from this store I dont lose a single one. The owners give great advice and wont push you into buying things that you arent comfortable with. One visit I wanted a particular fish. The owner asked what fish I already had in my tank and informed me that they wouldnt work well together. Because of that, I wont go to any other store for my needs and you shouldnt either!

Love this store!!! I started with a pretty big freshwater tank and was able to turn an interest into a full blown hobby!! With the advice and suggestions from the knowledgeable staff I now have both my big freshwater tank AND a big saltwater tank full of awesome fish, now Im adding anemones and small corals! Id suggest this store to anybody! The staff has helped do much and the prices are great!

Great fish store. Been shopping here since they were in the kmart center wayyyy back. Always well stocked....salt and freshwater, tanks, foods, koi, u name it. Definitely the only fish store in the area worth going to. Some items may be a little pricier than online (of course) but it beats waiting for delivery and helps local business.

Just started doing a saltwater tank and the staff here pointed me in the right direction. I did not feel like they were trying to up sell me. In fact one time I was willing to pull the trigger on a costly shrimp but the owner, knowing I was just starting out, suggested I get the cheaper shrimp to start out with.

I will never buy from this store nor would I recommend it to anyone. They keep their bettas in tiny little plastic bags with barely any water. They cannot swim at all. It is inhumane. I would give no stars if it were possible. I will be sure to let everyone know how terrible this place is.

If you love building/growing and maintaining your aquarium, this is the place to go! I was offered great suggestions on which fish to add to my space and I couldnt be happier. I wouldnt buy fish from a chain pet store ever again because of this place!
