We visited the aquirium portion of the The Adventure Park It was included with the tickets from the Virginia Aquirium. We drove to this location instead of walking the nature path. The weather was too unpredictable to walk the path. We walked through the exhibit in about 20 minutes. It was small. Our boys were too young for the rope corse. They did have things to do for toddlers in group sessions. The exhibits also had plenty of buttons for our boys to push. Wife and I enjoyed learning about our local bays. Wife is not a fan of the snakes... her loss I guess. I only gave it four stars because we did not go through the adventure park. Cant give a fair review of we didnt go. The place was clean and well kept. Not as much interaction from the staff as the VA Aquirium, but it was smaller and had one or two big exhibits.

TICKS TICKS TICKS! I was flicking TICKS off of me while we were THERE AND we brought TICKS home with us and had them in my home! They also have poison ivy everywhere with signs posted but I watch a father walk right into it because he was talking to his daughter who was up on one of the courses. The sun was starting go down and I was talking to one of the kids that work there and he said to me "I hope you brought bug spray cause your going to get ate up!" For 100 bucks I wouldnt expect what we experienced! One other thing... my grand daughter needed some help getting her gear off and when the kid was taking her gear off he said wow your gear is broke and shouldnt even been used... My poor baby struggled thru the courses because she had faulty gear and I thought it was because she was handling the clips! Just terrible!

Had an amazing time with my husband and our 14 year old twins. I was nervous and was just going to watch since I am in less than good shape. At the last minute I decided to try and I am so glad I did! I was able to do 3 of the green courses and I have never done ropes courses before. I felt so safe that I just had to focus on making it past each element. I needed some encouragement for a few elements from my family and luckily I never fell off and compleded the 3 geeen courses. My son did both black diamonds and one of them twice and my daughter and husband did a blue course too. The best part though might be the staff. They are incredibly friendly and make you feel like you can conquer and do anything. Such a great, great place!

It is not a zip line park. Do not confuse this with GO APE. GO APE is a zipline park. With that being said. The is a lot of fun for the family. There are all different difficulty levels to challenge all who dare and try this course. They teach you how to use the equipment and then turn you loose. Its a lot of fun , now if your wondering what it is, the best thing is to stop by one day and check it out. However best described as an obstacle course in the trees and you use a repelling line to get down. Dont think of this as a typical repelling line. You hook up on it and then Jump and it lowers you down slowly to the ground.

The ropes course here is fantastic! There are 15 different courses of different levels. For adventurous adults, start with a green course. Then do a blue course, I recommend Riptide since it has 3 zips. There are 3 black courses. Black Storm is the easiest of the black courses and has two long zips. Black Hawk is a challenging course that will work your whole body. Commando is the double black course. It has more technical elements and targets upper body strength.

The Adventure Park does get very busy but the staff do a decent enough job of moving people through the training. You dont have to worry much about the training eating up your time because they seem to give you a bit extra so you get your full 3 hours when things get hectic. Do not believe anyone that says this place is too easy. Anyone who says that did not try the harder courses. Most of the runs are meant for kids but a few will challenge most anyone.

The most fun Ive had in a while. Its expensive, but its worth the price. Its certainly a very physical activity, but the views you get through the journey are fantastic. I went with my family and had a blast, but I also think this is a fun date idea too. Its a great alternative to just a normal day at the gym, since by the time I left I felt like Id gotten an amazing work out in. The staff is also so fun and eager to help. Highly recommend!

This is a fun ropes course for people of all ages! With a diversity of difficulty and trails winding through the trees the adventure park will not disappoint. The combination of obstacles and ziplines is awesome, and highlights include a zipline that crosses a river in the back of the park. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help and answer any questions you may have. This park is a must if you are visiting Virginia Beach.

Kind of pricey, but worth it for a one-time adventure while vacationing. I felt very safe with their equipment even though it was my first time doing anything like it. Our two teenagers had a blast, and the hubby and daughter even conquered the blue (challenging) level, but barely. As completely inexperienced and not-in-great-shape persons, we did 5-6 of the courses in 3 hours. Great fun and Id highly recommend.

Took 51 teens and adults here with my youth ministry from church. It was awesome. Ive taken teens to Go Ape in Williamsburg, but Adventure Park was a ton better... more organized, more options, better obstacles, more opportunities for all skill levels, etc. The group rate was outstanding! And, they were extremely helpful in getting it all set up. Had a really great experience! THANKS!

We had a great time! The staff that sets you up with the harness was awesome. There are a ton of trails and lots of cool obstacles! They close the bigger trails early, so be forewarned. They also talk to you in colour code, so study up or youll feel like your being talked down to. Other than the small misunderstandings, it was an incredible time. We will absolutely go again!
