First of all I would like to applaud this location for the large selection of tropical fish they have at the store. Plenty of options for people like me, who have been bitten by the aquarium bug. Yesterday I went to your location because I was looking for puffer fish for one of my tanks. I wanted one for fresh water and you guys sold me the Spotted Puffer as fully fresh water fish. I asked if they were brackish water fish and you guys told me no. I bought them, because they were adorable, and because I thought I was doing the right thing. I came home and my roommate questioned me about the fish and I went to look it up online to find out conflicting information about these fish. On many websites it explains that this fish as it grows it should be moved into brackish water and then eventually into salt water. I take the blame for not having done the proper research before buying this fish. I know I am wrong for bringing home an animal that I am not familiar with. I just expected to be able to trust you guys since you have so many fishes there I just thought you knew what the heck you guys were doing. Today, first thing in the morning I called to ask, so I could have reassurance that I did the right thing or not and the guy who spoke with me (Dominick) was extremely rude on the phone and told me that he did not have to lie for $4 dollars. Dominick, please read this carefully: I do not buy fish looking at the price tag, I buy a fish that I think will not only look good at my tank, but at the same time that will go with the parameters of my tanks. You were very rude on the phone and honestly made me feel very uncomfortable to go visit your store again. In only two visits I spent way more than four dollars at your store and I expect to be treated with respect, no matter what fish I buy there. I should not matter if I buy a guppy or if I buy a discus, you should not treat me differently. I guess my suggestion to anyone buying at this store (or any store), do your own research and do not expect to trust the staff that works there. And if you have any questions, be ready to be treated with the highest disrespect an employee can give to a customer.

This aquatics store was great up until the point that I brought my aquarium home. While setting up, I noticed a crack on the inside pain of glass at the bottom of the tank. Upon further inspection I realized it was a manufacturers defect. I immediately called the store and explained the situation. I informed them that it was a diagonal crack starting under the seam at one end and extending to the seam at the other end. They immediately jumped to the statement that was signed stating that there was no damage to the glass and didnt want to hear anything else that I had to say. When I asked them for the manufacturers information the associate stated he didnt have that info and that I need to look through the manual. I would think a business should have this type of information on the products they sell. Also, I find It hard to imagine that the associate that was clearing out the display filling at the bottom of tank when we purchased it did not notice this crack as it is clearly visible. The only reason I did not catch it while at the store is because all the equipment I purchased was placed in the tank, thereby hiding the crack from view. Buyer beware! I highly advise no to do business with this store. It appears that if you buy something that is defected or inoperable you are stuck because they apparently dont want to provide a reasonable return policy.

We have been to many aquarium stores since we began maintaining a fish tank. We go to the Aquarium Center often for fish, water and supplies. The staff ranges in knowledge from clueless and rude to very helpful and informative. We however have found that, and this is important, THEY ARE THERE TO SELL STUFF. On 2 occasions we bought livestock that was not appropriate for our tank. We carefully explained what we had and the stock was sold to us anyway. Both times when we brought the fish back (didnt get any money back either) the staff member told us that the fish we bought was not appropriate for what we already had. We learned to do our homework that day. Additionally, we returned an item because we could not open it to insert a battery. Even though we got it at a discount we did not get any money back and were charged an additional $10 for a replacement. Look for stuff you want there, and buy it online or have them test it before you buy. The stock is in pretty good shape. Theres something to be said for buying close to home as some fish do not travel well. I wish That Fish Place was closer to our home. I give them a "C".
