In 1989, I remember the first time I was privileged to see the Stained Glass Theatre when it was located in Springfield, MO. We were told the story of how it used to be a church many years ago. The Windows were still in place & the original church pews were too! The play was set at Christmas time.....so Jesus Christ was the center of a home that loved the Lord but some family visitors, not so much. As a new Christian, my heart was blessed by the performance & so were many others. There was an alter call given & the opportunity to pray. I really appreciated that, because I was still learning about the ways of God. Its thirty-one years later now, & Im still learning about God, Jesus Christ & the Holy Spirit! Thank you, for all these years! I have loved going to SGT in Springfield & the newer Theater in Ozark! Its a wonderful way to spend the day, learning more about the stories in the Bible. The sets are awesome, the acting is good...not always great but the content is...so you get caught up in the stories and wind up engrossed and happy you were there to be a part of it! In fact, were always sad to have to leave. The ambiance is charming, the snack bar is so good that you wind up wanting to take snacks home with you. All in all, its a wholesome, uplifting experience that keeps us coming back again and again!

This Great Christian Ministry has been presenting live theatre performances in this area for 35 years! We have been season ticket holders for many years, and not been disappointed with any production. This intimate, small theatre features fantastic lighting and sound systems with beautiful scenery. Tickets prices are economically priced.

Weve enjoyed every played weve seen here, alternative shows with family and friends, and enjoy the Christian atmosphere. We buy DVDs of our favorite plays; and like to indulge occasionally and some of their yummy get inexpensive treats during intermission.

Heres a hidden gem of the Ozarks. Wonderful plays, warm and friendly personalities. Did I mention the desserts served at intermission? They are awesome! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Always a delightful experience.
