Normally I would do a 4 star for this waterpark, but today I purchased 3 tickets @ $11 a piece. Arrived @ 1:00 and had no idea there was a storm on its way. I understand that we should check the weather and be aware of that when going to a waterpark, but my weatherbug app on my phone showed nothing but a drizzle hours later (no thunder or lightning at all). I was not told at the purchasing window that it was enter at your own risk. Or even a chance that a storm was close and there would be a possibility of closing soon, no rain checks, refund...nothing. My two kids were in the water maybe 20 minutes(if that) before they made everyone get out. I never touched the water. There should be rain checks for at least an hour(maybe 2) of purchasing tickets. I will not be returning because of this. I spent $33 for 20 minutes. I am very disappointed.

i love this water park was going there when i was 13 yrs old make friend with all the employees and ppl there use to help all the staff member out there for over 3 yrs i miss mike sue and jason and katie and all the life guards out there so all u ppl this water park is an excellent public place to be to enjoy ur family hope u all remember me by james colon :) and also passed my jr life guard training there back in 2004 summer season

Very good family friendly waterpark. There is a huge wave pool and a playing area for kids. The kids can spend a whole day here enjoying the pool. The lifeguard is on duty and very helpful. The water is not deep and safe for kids. The place also has a small restaurant which serves snacks and drinks. Many families come here to party and enjoy.

I loved it especially there was a playground with water. The water slide was awesome i was so scared when I finally we down I saw how deep it was and i panicked but I remembered that I was wearing a life jacket lol. It was fun though they dont do anything for your birthday. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

Nice, longish hiking trails hidden in the way back behind the play area, in btw the pavilion and the workout area. Wish this parks system had a proper running / walking path or track like White Lake by their library or Duck Lake Pines in Highland that is not so close to traffic.

The wavepool and waterslides were lots of fun. The drawback to the facility is the very hot pavement. You need to wear watershoes so your feet dont blister like mine did! I also liked the ability to barbeque and bring our own food & drinks.

I really love the fact that you can bring your own food because some of us dont have the money to purchase things.. I we love everything about this place for family fun... I will let others know about Waterford oaks park. A GREAT place!!!!

Bring in your own food and drinks. Grills available. Plenty of picnic tables and beach chairs of differe t heights. Large tress and umbrellas for shade. Visible and attentive life guards. The fried chicken is really good.

They tore down the individual water slide a few years back and I wish they would replace it already so the kids have something else to do. The wave pool is fun and the food isnt bad either.

Fairly nice and clean place. Food inside is very expensive, so bring your own. Also, there is no regular pool. Only a wave pool, slide, and kids area.
