This is my first review on Google so that should tell you how much I cant stand this place and their penny pinching and sad attitude towards customer satisfaction. I live three miles away so I even gave this place a try twice. The first time was strawberry picking which you have to pay up front per person for only to get to a picked over field. When enough customers complain they will move you over to a good field (it was not that good even). God forbid you try to walk the land and move to the good field yourself. You will be picked up by the Gestapo they have watching your ever move and told sternly to move along. These are not the strawberries you are looking for. The second time was to meet a friend to let the kids play. They charge hefty sums for the hay stack, or the play field or the petting zoo. You have to pay adult + child fees. Save yourself the frustration. There are plenty of better orchards that will trust you more, let you have more freedom and charge you less in this area. I would gladly pay not to even see this place on the way home from work. I am frustrated every time I pass it. If I could give them a "zero" star I would!!!

Westview Orchard is probably the best orchard we have been too. Yes we had to pay $8.95 for our 21 month old because he was over the height limit and we had to pay $8.95 for both the parents...but there is a lot of things to do unlike many other places that charge large amounts for nothing. Our son eventhough very young still had tons to do and areas to play. You did not have to pay extra to go on tractor ride or to go through the corn maze so that was nice. Every staff member we came in contact with was extremely nice. They have a beautiful bar in the upper part of the barn where they serve their own wine and hard cider. Staff was very nice and let us sample many different wines and cider for free. Then we were very surprised that unlike most cider places their donuts where actually the size a donut should be and only $7.99 for a dozen. I was very impressed and wanted to make sure I have a good review. All the bad reviews are about money but this place is actually worth the money and any family outing is going to cost money so it may as well be worth it.

I cannot believe the reviews Im reading. Ill start with mine. Ive taken my kids here every year for the last 4-5 years driving up from Detroit area, so that should indicate how much I like this place. There are so many things to do here including the hayride to orchard, corn maze, pony rides, pumpkin patch, barrel slide, petting farm, jumping pillows, play ground, giant hay stacks to climb on, indoor maze, cider mill/store, and apparently a winery (Ive never been to,but I keep reading how delicious the peach wine is). Now let me address a few reviews: youre paying to experience the wide variety of activities available. If you want to sit and watch your kids on the playground, GO TO A PLAYGROUND not the orchard. If you say you paid $22 for 20 mins DONT COME AT CLOSING. Youre probably at the wrong place if these are your complaints. I think it was worth what I paid for my family to have a nice day at this establishment and look forward to keeping tradition.

Horrible experience, will not return. Confusing setup when you arrive with no one outside the admission building to tell you where to go. We finally got to the pumpkin patch and picked out 6 pumpkins. Waited 20 minutes for the tractor to show up and carry us back. When one finally did we were near the end of the patch and had a tractor pulling a cart that had two empty rows in it drive right by us. My 2 year of starts screaming when he didnt stop and I also had my pregnant daughter with us. We started walking back and had 3 tractor drivers tell us that we shouldnt be there but didnt let us get on their carts either. So the mechanic is sent to investigate the situation but is clueless on what to do also. By this time we were practically back to the front anyway. I said something at the register about the experience and no one seemed to care there either. Since they do not seem to care about their customers I will recommend to anyone.....STAY AWAY!!!!

I was worried when I read all the negative reviews of this place but we had a fabulous time. It was $16 for two adults and a two year old (over 30 inches) which included a peck of u-pick apples and the play areas, petting zoo, and wagon ride. I dont find that to be expensive at all for the amount of fun we had. The play area is great. Its unique so its not just another typical playground that you can play on anywhere for free. The guy who drove our wagon ride out to the apple orchard was incredibly friendly. The views of the trees and pumpkin patches on the way to the apple picking spot were gorgeous. The cinnamon donuts were good but definitely not the best Ive ever had. We went with four adults and two 2-year-olds and had an awesome morning. We went on a Thursday and I think prices go up on the weekend so keep that in mind. It was crowded but not unbearable. We didnt wait in any lines and didnt feel too cramped. We will probably make this a yearly trip!

If youre heading out to an Apple Orchard this is the one to go to for quality! The donuts and cider are my favorite in the whole area, they also have out of this world pies and other baked goods. All of their produce is fresh and you can taste the difference compared to buying them from your average grocery store. In terms of orchard fun, its geared towards little kid as there is a huge playground, petting zoo, obstacle courses and such. However watching the Apple Cider being made is interesting for all ages, they also are going to be featuring a winery upstairs soon which Im will be great for all of the adults wishing to have their own fun. Overall its a great place for the family to visit, check their website and facebook because they always have a bunch of promotions and keep it updated with the latest events. (Last year they had pumpkin cannons, hometown hero days and more.)

We just came home from this orchard and it was nothing short of a tourist trap. The lines were long for everything and nothing was properly labeled. We waited in lines just to gain information of where to actually go or to find out the prices of things! We love picking our own fruit and were looking for a fun alternative to just an all-U-Pick orchard, but this was ridiculous. There were crying kids and frustrated parents every where you looked. One woman even said that her kids were outside waiting for her to bring them doughnuts and couldnt walk away even though the prices were sky-high. FYI- 1 peck (1/4 bushel) of U-Pick apples is $10, 1 dozen doughnuts is $7.30, 1 gallon of regular cider is $6.75, and 1 gallon of "flavored" cider is $11.50. Im going back to my only U-Pick apples where 1/2 a bushel is $12 and getting my cider else where. I was very disappointment.
