I cant even believe anyone would give this course a 5 star review if theyve ever played at a decent course with a competent staff. The greens are in fair condition at best, the rough might as well be paved cart path. The clubhouse would be nicer if it were in a garage. The rental clubs are the worst Ive ever seen; save your $5 and buy a few clubs at Goodwill instead. The staff is rude to customers and are generally clueless. Honestly I wouldnt have rated the course so poorly if it were priced lower, but to pay $25 on a weekday for this poorly maintained budget course was an outrage. Id consider playing here again for $10 but never for $25. The course is very short. Despite it being a par 35, there are no par 4s longer than 400 yards. Most are under 300. If it were watered in any way, it might be a nice course.

As far as condition goes, this course is generally lush and manicured to the likes of a country club. The greens are kept up as well as the fairway. Its a very, very tight course. Imagine a little jungle that had 9 holes carved into it. The low handicapper will get their "iron game" put to the test. The average and beginner golfer will learn the meaning of course management, or lose a ton of balls trying. Definitely a walkers course, its only 9 holes, and its sister course (Evergreen Hills, GC) stays in good shape, too. To compensate for the inconvenience of the commute, the rate is reduced if you want to continue on to play 18 holes. Beech Woods has a nice range, too. Mats and grass. The biggest con, by far, is the mosquito issue. Be warned, if you dont stop and pick up some repellent, youll be sorry.

Pro shop is a mess. Very unfriendly staff. The greens are basically fairways, they dont roll very well or true. Cant stress how poor the management working there is. They charge higher than the value of the course

I love this course. Its perfect to practice your "short game". The greens are well maintained, clean and lots of really picturesque spots. The staff is always friendly....there arent any cons for me!

The driving range is great. Plenty of space between golfers. Putting green is really nice for practice. Good variety of different greens
