Cherry Creek is a gorgeous place for your reception and they are very responsive via email throughout your wedding process. However, I was told incorrect information prior to the signing of the contract by the event coordinator at the time. I was told floor length linens were included, however, 4 months before the wedding the event coordinator did not recall telling us this information and I had to deal with the general manager. He was one of the rudest managers I have ever spoke to. He claimed the event coordinator has never had a mix up during her many years working at Cherry Creek and said he was not worried about giving me the floor length linens since it was only a couple hundred dollars. However, he was concerned that I was going to be a "nit pick" bride where I would complain about everything and say that I was told things were included when they werent. After this conflict they let me have the floor length linens included. The event coordinator also told me that day the minimum was the same for Saturday and Sunday which I found was not true the day of the signing. However, my biggest concern is the fact that Cherry Creek interrupted my photos on the golf course 5 times making my reception introductions 45 minutes late. I was told right when I arrived that we could take pictures anywhere on the golf course. We were given the options of taking golf carts or walking and chose walking to try and be quicker since we took pictures right near the venue. I was interrupted 5 times saying I could not take pictures at the location we were at and redirected to a different location. Then another employee/manager would come out and tell us we could not take pictures there. The last employee told me I could not take pictures on the golf course at all because it is Cherry Creeks rule which is NOT true. For the amount of money you spend at Cherry Creek, I would not recommend having your reception there. You do not want to have these issues on your wedding day.

I just got done playing my second round at this course in a couple weeks. The first time that I played, it was part of a scramble and we played the white tees. Today, we played the blues and things felt a little more challenging. This is the thing about a nice course like Cherry Creek, they truly have the course set up so that any level of player can find some challenge! - The Pros - 1) This course is in very good shape for the price point. You can play here for a decent price if you pick the right time to play, but you can also easily pay over $60 a round if you play on the weekend or holiday. I think that compared to other courses in the area, this ranks as one of the top as far as course condition for the price... 2) I love the layout of this course. There is plenty of challenge and there are several holes that you really need to make some decisions off the tee. For instance, on number 11, you can hit a hybrid or long iron to the end of the fairway (before the water hazard) and then play about 115 or 120 yards in, or you can try to unleash your driver and cut the corner to give yourself a pitch shot in (long hitters can probably reach this one). There are also holes that have separate fairways to choose from! All in all, this is a blast to play and will give you some decent challenge especially from the back tees. - The Cons - I guess the price??? I have a course that is only a few minutes from my house that is in similar condition but not quite as nice on the layout side and is only $40 on the weekend. Like I said above, if you play this course at the right time the rates arent really that bad and it is a great value. Overall, this is an awesome course. If you are thinking of giving it a try, stop waiting and go for it! You wont be sorry.

Average course and overpriced for what it is. Much better options in the area for the money they want. Try Greystone or The Orchards. The clubhouse here is very nice and the driving range is one of the best in the area. The pro shop smelled like farts last time I was there. Changed my review from 2 stars to 1 after “Eric” from the course responded. Not sure what he is talking about. Is it a crime to give bad reviews when you have a bad or unacceptable experience? No, and I dont need this clown attempting to police my reviews to justify his job at a mediocre, overpriced golf course. Your pro shop did smell like farts, idk if you had a sewage backup or what but it stunk bad in there. You foolishly just cost yourself a star and by your constant responding to every review it seems like you need all the stars you can get.

My son and daughter-in-law were married on the golf course June 3 and it could not have been more perfect!! The appetizers, dinner, and desserts were spectacular! The atmosphere magnificent, he entire staff and especially Janelle; our coordinator, were so accommodating and helpful, literally at our beck and call; I have never experienced such amazing service.. We are still getting comments from the guests that this was the most beautiful wedding they ever attended and how delicious the food was! It was definitely not your traditional "Hall food" We were extremely pleased and would highly recommend Cherry Creek for any event you would like to host that you want to be certain is classy, elegant, beautiful and expertly handled from start to finish. Thank you Cherry Creek for making the day absolutely perfect!!!

Played Cherry Creek today and I give the the staff and course conditions a 5 star rating! Everyone was friendly, from the Pro Shop and rangers, the beverage cart girl was friendly and made numerous trips. The greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in great shape even for this late in the season. The reason I give the 4 star rating was is the course layout itself is a bit too challenging for novice to intermediate golfers.Too many holes force you to hit over marshes and wetlands(seemed like every other hole) and you have to be accurate and long off the tees on a lot of holes. Also, there are 5 par 3s and 5 par 5s, not a traditional par 72 course. Beautiful course though and a great staff.

I have been in the wedding industry since 1998. I have visited many wedding venues and Cherry Creek is at the top of my list of "awesome places to have a wedding." It was a "no brainer" when I got engaged. I booked Cherry Creek right away. My wife and I had great experience. Janelle and Christine were very helpful every time I called. The GM Erle was also very accommodating and friendly when we were trying to customize our package. Everything went great the day of our wedding. I cant say enough about how great everything went for our special day. Thank you Janelle and the rest of the Cherry Creek Staff for everything you did to help make our wedding day beautiful!

Had a bad experience here awhile back and gave up on the place. Played here a week ago on a recommendation. Still an overrated and overpriced course IMO. They have attempted to make some improvements, which is a plus, but it’s still not quite there yet. It is still an average course demanding above average prices. It is priced similar to some of the best courses in the area when it is nowhere near the caliber of those tracks. Really wish the carts had GPS and USB ports like some of the nicer courses in the area. I will say the clubhouse is beautiful and the practice facility is exceptional but I’m not getting married again anytime soon and my swing is on point. C+
