If you are coming to play this course expecting it to be like the others in Putnam County, you will be very disinterested your round. If you simply want to go out, swing the clubs, and play a few fun holes, this is for you. The course is closed on Tuesdays but you can walk it for free. They even advertise it on their website. None of the holes are very long, and the greatest distance from green to tee is between #8 and #9. There are some forced carries on about 4 holes over water. Do not expect great conditions. Putnam County is not a really wealthy one, and the golf course is owned by the county, so conditions are not the best. Hole #5 is one of my favorites. #6 and #8 are a little funky. I played today walking 9 holes in just under 1 hour.
