Arrived by boat....they were packed and the marina was so cool to let us put in a slip that had the owner gone for the day. That was the best part......now on to the restaurant......hostess told us 30-45 minute wait....but could seat us inside....kids wanted to sit outside.....I mean...cmon....spend $200 in gas to go there, you want the experience of sitting outside. We decided to leave and another hostess saw us leaving and asked if we had a change of plans...."no seating outside" I said. Clearly there were a bunch of tables empty. She was nice enough to seat us down outside. Once the first hostess noticed we were sitting outside, she gave me a snotty look. Later I asked her where the mens bathroom was and she ignored my first request then gave me a snotty reply. Food was marginal at best. Perch was small and greezzy. The only shining light was our server....she was awesome.

My family and I have had numerous gatherings at Dockers. My prom committee even chose dockers to cater for the prom we were hosting. To put it in a nutshell, I have been quite loyal to Dockers over the years. However, when I called to get pricing for their catering services, I was repeatedely ignored. I called numerous times and was told someone would get back to me. After the third time I called, I finally got a call back. The woman in charge of catereing told me she would check with the chef and get back to me. She never did. I am extremely dissapointed in the poor service that was shown to me by Dockers employees. They have lost my business, as well as the business of my family. I do not suggest choosing dockers for your catering needs.

We Went for our anniversary, the server was super nice and the view was enjoyable. We ordered the strawberry mixed greens salad to start and it was tasty. I ordered the broiled whitefish and fries and my husband ordered the salmon. The whitefish was extremely dry and just a bad cut of fish and had no seasoning/flavor. Really disappointed. The salmon was cooked right but had zero seasoning. Overall its a nice venue with mediocre food. Our tab over $100 with drinks and I expected better from a restaurant specializing in seafood.

I gave this place 2 stars, or paws up (from my dogs review), for providing my dog some water while on the patio. I ordered the shrimp tacos and felt like I was ripped off. The taco shells were stale, the amount of food inside the shell did not even equate to a taco from Taco Bell, and the food took a while to come out. My boyfriend got the dockside nachos with buffalo chicken and he said the chips were not fresh and the cheese was not that good. However, the Buffalo chicken was good. On a positive note, the servers were nice.

My Husband and I and 2 of our close friends visited Dockers this past Friday evening. The place was very very busy! All the employees were smiling and very helpful. We all loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent! The food came in a timely manner. The food was top notch, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable! At 6:00 a two member band (very talented) entertained us with upbeat music that was the perfect volume. We sat outside by the tiki bar. It was a wonderful experience!! We will definitely return!!

Great outside seating and a fun atmosphere. The food was good as well. However, our waiter was pretty terrible. He seemed quite disappointed after we only ordered water to drink (we were running the Seaway Half Marathon the next morning). Our food was good, but when the waiter came to check on us he ran by so quick he didnt even wait for my response. He never really smiled or tried to engage us in anyway during the meal.

We visit by boat multiple times during the summer and we have ALWAYS found the experience fantastic. Great food, very reasonable for the scenery, entertainment, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing quite like Dockers on Lake Michigan that feels like you are in the Caribbean! We usually take guests on our boat and it is such a great experience on a Sat or Sun PM that they buy lunch!

Had to check this place out for ourselves after having it recommended several times. The patio at Dockers is huge and very nice. The food we ordered, while expense, was very good. The Shrimp Tacos we delicious and very refreshing. We also ordered their fried jumbo shrimp and enjoyed them as well. Cool stop that features live music on a regular basis.

Beautiful views and lots of seating inside or out. Peel n eat shrimp and Street Tacos get 2 thumbs up. Chowder was so-so, Three of the 4 orders of perch were overcooked, as were the hush puppies. 3 Thumbs down. Did see some perfectly cooked perch at other tables. Our waitress should have noticed this and not served them.

Beautiful setting on the water. We started with the lobster dip....delicious! I had the search basket. Probably the worst pearch meal I ever had. Over cooked and dry. We were with a group and I didnt want to make a scene.....Liked the place but stay away from the pearch.

While the atmosphere is cute, dont go for Michigan perch. For $22 they give you 6 (very tiny) poorly seasoned perch and a huge plate full of ok fries. Really disappointed in the price for nothing more than a few little pieces. I highly recommend JWs in grand haven for perch.

Went in with a group of ten people. Ordered perch ( awful), beef brisket( good), whitefish (average) . Too much money for the poor quality of food. Service was so slow. Saying it was slow is even giving them credit for moving somewhat fast. Took three hours for lunch!!

We came in with a request for 8 seats, but only two of us were there for nearly an hour. Our waiter was pleasant, friendly, and extremely on time for every refill and every order, even though two people were taking up an 8 top. Great service, food was good as well.

Mussel appetizer was good.....however perch and lobster Mac & cheese lacked quality and plate presentation. Also the Titos mule wasnt worth it. Had better food for a lot less at other places. Unfortunately, we wont return. Disappointed to say the least.

Was very pleased with this restaurant. Walked in and although it appeared busy were able to sit outside along the water..our server Leah was helpful and prompt. Our food was delicious and a fair price. Would recommend this for anyone!

Great service. Saturday night crowded. Difficult to converse with noise level. Food was very good. Great setting for indoor or outdoor seating. The place to be. Band and dancing. Want to converse, go during week. On water.

Dont waste your time. Came in, sat down, and ordered drinks. Told by waitress. Not hostess that pretty much their entire menu they were out of as today was their last day open. Understandable but tell us sooner!

Its okay. Deck view of the water and general atmosphere is very nice. Server was fairly efficient and on top of things. Menu is pretty small. My meal was tasty but a bit overpriced.

We had our wedding reception here and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and they took good care of us. No one was disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious.
