Diabolical Sound
A decent amount of trails for biking or hiking. The river is beautiful for kayaking. Saw many egrets, a few blue herons, and a pair of swans. Just be sure to refrain from your intoxicated friends recommendation to go too far into the lily pads, or you may get stuck in the mud and have to portage your vessel! There were also 2 pens with an owl and a hawk in them.

A very nice Metropark and much more "nature" oriented than most of the other parks. Dont expect a waterpark or a horse riding stable here although there are plenty of horse trail, walking trails, and bike paths.

My grandkids love the nature center, the little deck over the water and walking through the paths. The girl working at the nature center was very friendly, interacting with the kids and very patient.

A great place to get away and enjoy some fishing and adventuring on the Huron. Bass, pike, bluegill, and carp are abundant. Throw a line in the water and you are sure to catch something.

Ive lived in the area for 12 years and didnt know about this little gem. Conveniently located park with public swimming pool. Well maintained with a welcome and safe police presence.

This is a fun little park with some nice walking trails. The park is well maintianed. We have a Metropark pass and enjoyed walking the trails.
