Id been wanting to swing through this place, and Im sure glad I did! My wife and I were on our way back from Chicago and, since the weather was great, we made a stop. Everything about our experience was outstanding. You can tell immediately upon arrival that the place is unique. The French-style decor and architecture is adorable, the outdoor seating is quaint yet unique, and the building exterior is well-kempt. Once inside, we didnt have to wait at all to get a flight of ciders (they have, I believe they said, over 30 on draft!). The guys behind the bar were knowledgeable, friendly, and got us hooked right up. I particularly enjoyed their line of dry ciders, and my wife took a quick liking to their semi-dry selection. Its definitely a place to check out - you wont be disappointed. Thanks, guys! Keep up the great work!

My family and I really enjoyed the tour of Virtue Cider this past weekend. We took in a 4:30 p.m. "tasting" event and the room was chock full of tasters! I tasted three or four different kinds of hard cider and personally I prefer a non-hard cider but at age 62, I am a traditionist. The main building is fascinating and the showroom with apple signs, cider logo glasses and ceramic mugs is darling. I do wish however, there would have been a place to sit down for the tasteing, even a stool or two for older customers would have made my visit more comfortable.

Several Chicago bars carry Virtue Ciders Red Streak so I was pleasantly surprised to see their brewery open to the public. In addition to their flagship brew, the tasting room offered six other ciders including a bourbon barrel aged cider and a sour cider. The first tasting is complimentary and additional tasting are $1 but waived with a two bottle purchase.

I knew about Virtue before accidentally coming across their farm on a trip to Michigan. Cool looking structures from the road and a very nice setup once you get inside. Staff has always been nice and insightful on my visits. Definitely recommend doing a tasting. They even have coloring pages and sweet cider if you happen to have kids with you.

The ciders here have really matured over the years and so has the property itself. The tasting room has grown and sits inside of a large oak barrel storage area. Outside there is a place to feed the pigs that they use to clean the orchards. The ciders are very good and the variety is really impressive compared to a few years ago.

The staff was very accommodating. We tried a few ciders. I guess it was not what I expected being not sweetened although it is supposedly how they were originally made centuries ago. More on the sour side. Unique place to visit.

First time visiting. Enjoyed a flight of their ciders. Staff was very nice & helpful with suggestions/questions. Visited mid week, so it wasnt busy at all. Seems they host music & events on weekends.

Very good cider, I do admit. But I just discovered after the fact that they are owned by Anheuser Busch InBev...... misleading if your looking for a craft cider spot.

Excellent staff, gorgeous farm, wonderful cider. After drinking this cider I will never go back to over processed, over sugared cider.
