My absolute favorite venue! The bartenders are quick even with a crowd and the drinks are stiff, the food is great, security is on point but not invasive. Recently undergone a bit of a face lift including the addition of air conditioning in the back room (which can get warm when its full). Come in for a few minutes or stay for a few hours but youre bound to have a good time either way. [if the kitchen is open try a burger or some chicken tenders; you wont be disappointed]

This spot is truly a gem in Detroit, Michigan. You can come at 11pm or at as late as 2/3am on Fridays/Saturdays and dance your ass off without care. Try to find an event being hosted if you want it packed. I find it that this club is more about dancing and the music is good. There are two huge rooms with DJs, so you have some choice. There is an outside patio that plays music some nights. The crowd seems to be club / rave / music scene.

The best place to go if you want to dance to electronic music without judgement. Not an "upscale" venue but very far from a hole in the wall. they have adequate parking that is watched over by security. 3 areas, 2 djs (3+ djs during events) and the staff treat you very nice unless you give them a reason not to.

My home away from home! Its a great place to go on the weekends and it has extremely cheap events. The staff are great people and the ravers are a kind breed. You get to see local talent make music right in the heart of Detroit. Big named headliners also stop in very frequently to throw down some beats :)

Amazing venue. Tight close quarters packed with individuals there for one sole purpose: uniting the mind and the body with the throb of insane beats, guaranteed to take you into the realm of the surreal long after most other places close. I would not recommend this club if you are new to the rave scene.

Worst place Ive ever been too. Run down, everyone there is disrespectful. Not PLUR whatsoever. Staff is a bunch of ass holes who hate their jobs. Theyll pack the place to the gills. Ventilation system is too small for the events they have. I will never come back. No matter whos playing there.

Ive been going to The Works for about two years now and it is always a lot of fun meeting friends there. Its generally open pretty late, and youll meet a wide variety of people on the weekends. I have to say it honestly isnt a very clean place, but try not to be intimidated by its appearance.

maybe Im to old for this but the drinker where reasonable priced and the music was ok. I could do without the 3 people asking me for molly.. didnt know molly was still a thing... try to go on a night that an event is going on otherwise youll just be standing around with 2 other people

This place definitely has a patina. Cover is usually pretty cheap, the sound is good, and they play a diverse set of parties from house to bass music. Always a reliable spot for after 2. Stick to beer or gin though, whatever whisky they use tastes like a urinal cake.

Besides the mean ass man that checked ids and the disrespectful bartender which I almost cursed out ( I wonder if it was because Im black) I had a great time. After I partied I forgot all about them. THe people were really nice and I loved they djs.

THANK GOD they got a new owner. The last guy was probably the worst manager in Detroit. They have totally remodeled the place, added a patio and are actually keeping up with their soundsystem. Much better now

This place is pretty wack for an after hours. Most the staff are pissed at the world because its 2am and theyre still working. Cash only cover charge, young kids, dubstep, meh.
