My first play attended at this cozy and wondrous, little pocket-dimension of a theater was "Dr. Heidi Jekyll," a ninety-minute adaptation of "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." The opening night of this work was masterfully performed by a quartet of players; the dialogue was crisp, the interactions between characters believable, and the scene changes nearly seamless. The audience was welcomed into a world which became more and more surreal, until the transformation into a dread reality slowly dawned on them. mirroring the imperceptible and unanticipated escalation into the world of chemical dependence only to have real-world consequences shatter rudely the delusion of manageability. I was very impressed by the world created in this small and intimate venue. All of those involved were more than willing to talk about their experiences and how things were done. I fully intend to go back in a couple of weeks, making this production only the second live performance I will have attended more than once. Its worth it.

If you havent been to a play at Slipstream youre missing out. This is a really great space curated by some of the most dedicated creatives in the business. Ive seen several shows here and have never been disappointed. Slipstream is a hidden gem.
