We went for the North American International Auto Show, had a blast, we accomplished what we went to do. My grandsons hero is Lightening McQueen, he got to meet his hero, the lady from Pixar could see he was mind blown and snuck him in back to give him a promotional poster of the upcoming Cars 3 Movie! Lots of love to you my dear, you were awesome! She also took pictures of the family for future generations to see!! We got to see the Lego Batmobile and try out some new Chevrolet models, since its time for that lease to be turned in! We all had a great time. It seemed as though it was easier to get around this year, not less people, just better laid out displays. Great job to our local guys who work so hard putting this show together for weeks before we get to enjoy it!

Cobo centre, Home of the Detroit Auto show, Huge convention hall/exhibit hall. lots of private conference rooms, well maintained. variety of parking all around the place if you plan ahead the parking can be as low as $10. in peek times if you want to park closer it is $40. one option is to park close to the People Mover stations and come in that way as well. Only concern was the food court, need little bit more variety, and the prices are high for the quality. they have Andiamo in the first floor, with pasta meet balls and Pizza options. my problem was being a vegetarian. stuck with either a slice of pizza or a wrap from the refrigerator. but not a big deal. they are ok for a quick bite.

Went to for 4th time Anime, Manga and Cosplay convention YOUMACON herer. Wonderful place as usual, felt safe good security and easy maps to get around. However food is ridiculously expensive and all con-goers choose to leave and go else where on the town for affordable food at good price instead of buying food here. Many go to fast food outside of here, Slows Barbecue, Mercury Bar & Grill and Food Court in Renaissance Center over ridiculous price here even for water for heavens sake way to expensive. All in all kept clean and safe place would recommend Cobo for if someone wanted to do a show-convention.

Attended NAIAS at Cobo. It was a Saturday so kind of tricky getting to the parking ramp, due to traffic, but parking was a breeze and clearly marked. Plenty of different access points to the interior made for a short walk and quick elevator trip to the main floor. The building has acres of space on different levels all of which are easy to get to by stair, escalator and elevator. All in all, the only detracting factor in my opinion is getting into and out of Cobo. Construction and traffic can seem to complicate things very quickly at this location.

Ive been going here ever since I was a kid. Its a great place for any show, although parking is very expensive. $20 a day in my opinion is ridiculous. Park elsewhere and take the People Mover. Its safe, heated and drops you off right next to it. Good luck with wherever your car is though. Theres a VERY fine line to which areas are safe and which arent in Detroit. The Cobo area is relatively safe. Just use your best judgement and never let go of the little ones.

The renovation of the south end of Cobo Hall is awesome. Letting visitors get a view of the Detroit River is a whole new experience at Cobo. Over all the facility is fantastic. The biggest downfall is the food court food. It is VERY expensive and not very good. Watch out for the spicy pickle and bloody mary potato chips. VERY spicy. The management at the food court was not very friendly when I asked to exchange the inedible bloody mary potato chips.

Great place to go for a meetings and large events when I was there it was the Democratic Convention a cheer competition and a boat show it was so many people. And the PARKING GARAGE WAS THE PITS... . The food court is always chaotic . THE food is pretty good but you never know where the line begins or ends the tables dont get wiped off fast enough and it needs to be cleaned more. It definitely needs structure

Went to the Auto show here. I am not here too often other than that, but try to come for the 1 event every year. The show was very disappointing from years past. They had almost nothing on the bottom level. The top one had a decent amount. There was no wall climbing or really much of a food selection like they used to have. No army vehicles or the other Dub ones they had before. Overall a good show.

I went there for the 2017 North American International Auto Show. The magnificence of the location did complete justice for such a huge autoshow platform. There are elevators, escalators and restrooms everywhere. The place is clean, well maintained and connected to all modes of transportation like cabs, cars, buses and the people mover. Definitely recommend checking out this place.

Beautifully designed snd convenient. I used the Detroit People Mover to get to Cobo Center for the Auto Show after parking in Greektown. It was convenient for me and my party. Cobo has been recently updated and is a beautiful building for hosting such events in Detroit. I really enjoyed my time there for the auto show even with the crowds of people. Its a very spacious venue.

I love this place, the people that work here are so helpful, an parking in the Detroit Downtown can be expensive, but its only 10 dollars all day, the best place to park, the people mover right there, l can visit the sites an take the, people mover back to Cobo Hall to get my car an the Expressway is right there no chance of getting turned around.

Great expo center that hosts many of the best events Detroit has to offer such as the North American Auto Show. You can also can find some great pieces of art work here, one being the life size bronze statue of Joe Louis. It was also just recently underwent a much needed face lift which just adds to the many improvements the downtown area has received. Enjoy!!

Catering staff were friendly and on top of everything. The rooms were perfectly sized, numerous, and close to each other making the transition time between the conference presentations minimal. The downfall was the mic system in our main room and the Internet bandwidth in all of the rooms. The mic kept cutting out during all of the presentations.

Cobo is so much nicer now that the expansion has been completed. It used to be fairly bland, but the new atrium on the back facing the Detroit River has totally changed its character. Theyve also recently updated the exterior with large electronic signs and metal grid that is a lot more visually interesting than the old grey exterior.
