The place was disgusting. The service was slow and unhelpful. Our waitress was just rude and she didnt ask if we wanted the meal or appetizer version of our food so half of us ended up with less than adequate portions. She didnt apologize and just told us she guessed what we wanted instead of asking us. A burger that was requested plain came with lettuce, tomato, and a pickle in it. She never checked on us and didnt give/ask us if we wanted any refills. The chicken seemed to be Tyson frozen meet and the food was mediocre. We were thoroughly dissapointed and made an expensive mistake.

My partner and I visited P-town today. I suggested we have lunch here. Since I had eaten previously there a few years ago and was pleased with the food and service. Although this time when we ordered, the waitress we had seemed disinterested in serving us. When the appetizer had come out, it was not what we had ordered. There was not an apology for the mistake or making us wait. Then, when the food came it was completely bland. We were never asked how the food was or if we enjoyed our meal. There are much much better choices on Commercial street.

DO NOT eat here!!! We ordered kids chicken fingers for my 2,5 and 6 year old girls. When I looked into one of the chickens in was RAW!!! Completely uncooked!! Then a cockroach crossed our table!! When we told our server....they did nothing..just asked if we wanted more!! We had to tell them that we refused to pay for the kids meal! Then they took off the $5 kids meal but gave us attitude!! We could not even eat our meals they were sooooo bad!!!!! There are so many better choices..dont make the same mistake we made!! I hope my kids don get sick!!!

our first night here was great with Charmane. Our 2nd night with our family was hell, cold food orders not right, and the food and apps came out. The waiter argued with us when we tried to get stuff corrected, and told us we were stressing him out. The mangers response, good help is hard to find. Wth??!! And he paid for our shots. You get better service at fast food. Horrible and I never ate we had to get pizza which was better. This place sucks. Just set your money on fire before eating here!

I agree with a previous reviewer this place deserves 0 stars. My friend and I came in for lunch and notified the waitress we have been waiting to be served. One couple was seated and waited on, then another table, before we had to remind the waitress we were still waiting. When the third table that was sat after us was waited on we had no other choice but to leave. Horrible service, rude staff, and simply an inexcusable way to treat paying patrons.

The food was good a bit over priced for the portion size, waiter service sucked had to gerbil numerous times because our waiter was always sitting down in the corner, and the table behind us Im glad we didnt get their waitress she spoke no English and had to repeat orders numerous times, bartender couldnt make a simple Long Island ice tea it was just gin with ice tea like I said food is good but everything else sucked

Was met by a rude old woman who literally snatched the kids menu out of my little cousins hand because he is a little over their kids age. Then, my other friend attempted to order a grilled cheese and got shut down because she is a teenager. Theyre a money grabbing restaurant. Also they were understaffed so the wait for food was longer than it should be. The only good thing about it was the outdoor patio for dogs.

If I could give this place a half a star I would. We had to doctor up our bloody mary and it was still lousy. Our waitress was negligent at best. We had an issue with our bill, which the manager made no attempt to rectify. We should have known something by how few people were in there... We wont make this mistake again. (Please note: this was in the restaurant, not the bar.)

While you are in Cape Cod there are a lot of restaurants that you have to go to. The Governor Bradford is not one of them. The service is under par, the food is bland, boring, and overpriced. The restaurant seems to rely on its location and ascetic to bring in customers rather than qualiy food and service. A superior alternative would be Winslows tavern in Wellfleet

My 1st time writing anything negative about a place, but this bar is ABSOLUTELY the worst bar Ive been too in all of the Cape. Service sucked & The Bartender (Karen) is extremely rude & sarcastic to ALL patrons. Drinks were absolutely disgusting and very small for what you pay for. Horrible experience for what should have been a nice time in P-Town.

The hostess was nice and cute . The wait staff was there as soon as I sat down to welcome me and offer a drink . The food was amazing. I had Yankee pot roast with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies , extremely delicious . I tip my hat to the chief. I would tell you about desert but the portion s were so big had no room. All over a exelent place .

Good seafood, good beer selection with limited local brews, good service, large portions. The prices were reasonable for the location. Outdoor seating was really enjoyable. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly. Their marinara sauce was made freshly and had big chunks of tomatoes, which was a pleasant surprise.

Showed up, no one greeted us. We took an empty table in an almost empty dining room (though there was music playing and the bar was full) and sat for 20 minutes. At least five employees saw us and no one said hi, gave us menues or even came over to tell us they were closed, if they were. Ended up walking out feeling very awkward.

Horrible expensive food. Clam chowder tasted like it was from a can. I got charged for rolls for my soup. The $16 lobster roll was on a hot dog bun and very tasteless. It was served with a tiny bag of cape cod potato chips. The bag seriously contained 4 potato chips.

We had breakfast, sitting on the little patio outside, under the umbrellas. The menu includes portuguese-inspired items, and I had the omelet with sausage; orange juice, coffee, service all very pleasant, prices good. Nice way to start a weekend day. #15bday

Greeted by a miserable hostess. Waited 15 minutes before getting a drink myself from an inpleasant bartender. No one ever took our order or even came to the table. Went across the street to the lobster pot and had the best meal I have had in a long time.

This place should get 0 stars. The food was subpar. Service was terrible. No craft beer selections. There are participation trophies on the top shelf of the bar instead of decent liquor. Save your money and sanity and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

While Ive never eaten at the Governor Bradford its always a favorite stop at the end of the night for some drinks and, if youre feeling daring, jump up on stage for some drag karaoke. Always a fun crowd, and a great spot to warm up in the off-season.
