This place is a SCAM and FRAUD. Its a loot going on here. My friends and my receipts were all manipulated and on the same night, on 3 separate occasions, on 3 different credit cards and out of our knowledge and consent, waitress added 30% tips on our bill (we actually paid the tips in cash) and we have been charged $30 more on credit card. In my case, I clearly remember that I signed and wrote down $38 on the receipt and signed. After 3 days, I checked my statement and I was charged $48 instead. When we called the management and informed about this incident, instead of helping us and refunding us the difference, they said that they talked to the bartender and (of course) she refused any such manipulation and they didnt give us any money. They didnt take any hard action. So, basically management supports such illegal activities. And ya, where this was just illegal and fraud, even when we were in guest list and reached the place before 11 pm, we were still charged the cover fee. When we asked the reason and said that we would talk to the organizer, the organizer would come after 10 minutes and said that then the time was beyond 11pm!!! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. DONT GO HERE EVER..

Welcome to the new Icon Night Club, it is essentially the same layout as the old Rumor but with a revamped audio and video system. So if youve been to Rumor you wont be lost. The revamped audio and video system is definitely noticeable in both rooms. In the main room the massive DJ booth sits front and center with state of the art displays surrounding them. In the smaller room the video system is a great backdrop to the bar. They run a variety of different nights here, but regardless this is an establishment where you must dress to impress so collared shirts and dress shoes are a must for guys, if not a sport coat. On the night I went it was mostly hip hop but they are known to do EDM and Latin music in these venues as well. This is one of those places you plan on attending. The door guys can be unfriendly, but can you blame them? There are literally hundreds of people trying to cut the line and name drop on any given night. When I come here I usually RSVP with Ace of 6one7 promotions, this seems to help ease the pain of getting in. Drinks are generally $10 -15 and cover charges range from $20 - 30.

One could imagine that Venu/Rumor (both are Pasha Entertainment) would be stylish, sexy, and cosmopolitan -- but, thats simply not the case; dont fool yourself. Furnishings are worn, DJs have been mediocre (in my experience, the playlist has been a hodgepodge of over-played Trance and Billboard Hits), cover charges are unreasonably high, and the wait is longer than youll even wish to dance inside. Spend your time/money elsewhere (Suggestion: Middlesex)!

Icon is hands down the best nightclub in Boston. The production is on par with clubs in Miami and Las Vegas from flashing lights to massive LED walls, confetti to CO2, and plus when the occasional headliner DJs or artists come to town, they end up at Icon. I cant wait to get bottle service there!

Clown bouncers took my vape pens and lighter at the front door and wanted me to "take care of him" wanted me to pay him off but half the club was smoking weed . Its one thing if its not allowed but if half the club is smoking weed they are playing favorites and want to be payed off .

Its a small place and has 2 halls. They received $5 for coat check-in and a person was standing near the restroom to get tip from the people! The prices for drinks were so high! The sound quality could be better.
