Having just moved to the area from Boston, we wanted to find a good dog park to get the energy out of our year and a half old mini schnauzer. I was extremely disappointed with our experience. Yes the area is large for running around and has agility obsiticals for your dog, but the fact that is completely dirt surrounded by woods doesnt allow for a "clean" place. Maybe Im spoiled by the dog parks in Boston that have small rocks for the ground to allow for your dog to not walk through streams of run-off from the woods or urine puddles. Usually I dont have to give my dog a bath after every trip to the park, but after out time here there was no way out if it. I also dont want to have to worry about ticks when I take my dog to socialize as I worry about this place. While I appreciate the thought at a large dog park, this is not the place for me. We will continue to take the time to drive in to Boston to go where my pup is familiar.

Generally a nice park. Great dogs, great owners. Park itself has a few obstacles and balls, but it is all sand and 9/10 is muddy from run-off water from the trails nearby. Never left there with my dog not needing a bath. However this fact doesnt seem to bother my dog (just my OCD with my car). Fenced in so the dogs can just run and enjoy themselves. Cleaner than Sheepfold in the sense that you dont have to be afraid to walk around (although there are a few owners that dont seem to clean up after their pets).

The location isnt great, but the dog park is simple and usually there are plenty of dogs for Fido to play with. Nice high fence with plenty of room for running, and benches for you to sit at. Theyve added a bag station and trash barrel as well. Make sure you bring water to drink and a towel to clean your dogs feet as it is all sand.

Nice large dog park, but this park needs to sectioned off for small and large dog my dog was taunted and attacked by the larger dogs. I feel I cant bring my dog here anymore.

Great place although Andover does not provide dog bags or a place for you to throw away your dogs poop.
