Overpriced and in poor condition. Several of the fairways have weeds growing in them and many of the holes are like playing in your front yard - not a golf course. The bunkers are in poor condition and if you think youre getting underneath the ball, think again - the sand is rock hard. Be sure to check your wedge too for the nicks itll get from the rocks in the sand. For this price, there are other golf courses in the county that are much better kept. Its a shame because the two young men that were sitting on lawn mowers were later spotted fishing at one of the ponds while we were playing. They could have been working to correct some of the poor fairways and bunkers. I wish I got paid to fish! I also had the experience of using a porta-pot on the grounds, which I could not avoid. I spent the first five minutes holding back a giant dump while ridding it of a dozen spiders. The only reason why this review gets two stars instead of one is because the staff was genuinely friendly. We went on a very hot afternoon and they gave us some extra cups to take with us to fill at the holes with water. Ive also heard that the food at the clubhouse is very good, but cannot attest to that.

Played 5 times last year from April through August and sad to say the greens and tee boxes were just as awful today. The fairways and rough is fine and its hard to lose a ball in the open layout, but you should pay at least $10 less for the condition of the tees and greens. The tees are uneven, divots are not picked up or filled with sad at least. The greens all have large patches of missing grass that looks like mold or I dont know what. You think they would put a sign up acknowledging it or at the minimum put sand to level it out. When you ask the pro shop whats wrong with the greens they look at you like youre crazy. Apparently all the income goes into the restaurant which takes forever to make the simplest sandwich and the food is gas station quality and thats insulting the gas station. The employees arent hard to find though. They sit and stand right in front of the main doors smoking, which is nice to walk through and is indicative of how much they dont care about the course or guests. Youre better off driving to Ruggles, a PA course or just burning your money than playing here.

I played this course yesterday after getting an AMAZING deal off of Golf Now (18 holes with fees and cart was $50 for two people.) The Staff: When I get there, I was told the front 9 was being aerated and only the back 9 was available to play. I could play it twice or receive a partial or full refund. Also, the 12th green went the way of the dodo despite them trying to save it a little earlier in the season. I appreciated them being up front about all the issues and the starter was very curious. The lady working the bar at the restaurant was one of the most pleasant and genuinely kind persons Ive ever met. (Id go back just for her) The Course: Barring the 12th green, I really enjoyed the course overall. It seemed well taken care of except for a few poor looking bunkers. Catching glimpses of the front 9 as we drove through, it really looked nice and I wished I had the chance to play it. Overall, Id definitely go back...assuming I got the Golf Now rate again. For full price, Im not sure its quite worth the money and 50 minute drive for me.

Played here today and the course is in terrible shape. The greens look like they havent been cut in weeks. The pin locations clearly have not been moved as the grass is starting to grow over them and the tee boxes are hardly even grass. The fairways are mostly weeds and dead spots. The course has been slowly going down hill the last few seasons. I was extremely disappointed as this was the course I learned to play at. It used to be very nice. Now it is a over priced and poorly maintained course. There are much better public courses to choose from. Unfortunate I will not be returning.

This course up until 18 months ago was a good track. I do not know what happened to it but it wooks like patch weeds now mowed down to resemble fairways. The greens were pretty fast but I have a birdie putt and a par put jump offline by a good 4-6 inches. The restaurant is still very good for the price, but my favorite waitress was not there for some reason ( I am hoping just a day off) This is the first time this year and as far as I am concerned probably my last.

I love this course! I try to play here at least once a week. From the groundskeepers to the guys in the pro shop the entire staff is super friendly. The course is forgiving and just a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Dont leave without visiting the restaurant. Again just a fantastic staff, the food is always good and very reasonably priced. Even if you dont golf the restaurant and bar is worth a trip.

This "course" is a joke. Its all weeds and crab grass thats sorta mowed down yet mostly patchy. Never hit outta so much Dirt before in fairways. Bunkers are concreted. Greens are lumpy, slow and shaggy. The region has many well maintained courses, and this is 2nd worse. This place is where u go if u have zero expectations of a quality course. 1 star for GPS screens in cart.

By far the WORST Golf Course in the region I have played. EVERY green is burnt and the tee boxs are not mowed right or tons of weeds and burnt. DO NOT play this course if you actually like playing the game. This course if worth $10, not the $45 these crooks want to charge us. Quality isnt anything what this is about, and the truth be told in the course.

A couple of greens are absolutely horrible. However, if the course put a few dollars into their investment, it could actually be up there with pine ridge, or mountain branch. Dont know why they dont improve a little, rather then staying stagnant. Other than that, the course is just fine for the layperson, or a nice twilight session.

Played this past Sunday, greens were long and of course slow, other then that it was a good day. Its a public golf course what are these other reviews talking about, it not a private track, get over it and enjoy the game

Do not play this course. Unfriendly staff who act like it is a privilege to play their overpriced, under maintained course. Save your money and play a real course. I will not be going back.
