This was not a good experience at all. We did not know what to expect but what we got was a big mud bowl is what it was. The lay out seemed promising but after your first tee shot you knew it would be a long day. The fact that you would rather be in the rough than the fairway says it all. The fairways were soaked or just completely mud covered. There was no grass at all, even in the fairway. Yes, the fairways have not come around due to the weather being cold but it did not matter because as I said before it was all mud. There was growth on the Tee boxes and they had not been mowed in days. The greens were actually not too bad but like I said, the joy is gone as soon as you hit the ball because if it was in the fairway it would be plugged and covered in mud and I mean mud, not patches but complete mud. It was 90% mud and the rest was possibly a little grass but all mud. Like I said, you were better off being in the rough or the woods. I never complain about the price of a round but they have no right charging on a Friday morning $45 for 18 holes of this mess. I mean seriously, maybe I would of paid $15 for the round and they should be charging $20 at the most until they can bring this place around. I believe I did see 1 person on a lawn mower the entire day. Just 1 and that was it. The pro shop is well stocked and they seem to have a lot of equipment. The personnel running the club house were very polite and very nice people. We have nothing but good things to say for the personnel working at the course but the conditions stunk!!!!!!

Play here once a year for an association tournament and we are always treated very well. The layout is a bit challenging, and mostly friendly to beginners.
