Although I did not get the chance to hike any trails here, the rocky shoreline with its crashing waves were quite spectacular! Similar to the one-way Park Loop Road on Mt Desert Island, the Schoodic Loop Road is one-way with plenty of turnouts and parking areas. Even on a gray, overcast day the scenery was beautiful.

Standing on the shore at Schoodic makes you feel small. The waves crash against the rocks and water sprays your face, while the birds soar above you. Perfectly peaceful and awe-inspiring.
