Very disappointing. We were talked into taking the 3 1/2 hour tour after going to book the 2 hour one, as we were more likely to see seals. dolphins, minke whales and sea birds. While I accept these are wild animals and will only appear if they feel like it, we were expecting to see more than we did, a few seals so far away that it was hard to make them out. We also saw a few puffins, but nothing else, just 3 1/2 hours of sea. The boat itself was not what we expected, after paying for the tickets we were told we had to travel else where to get it, as there were nice modern boats just behind the booking office we wrongly thought they would be the ones we were going on. Instead we got a boat with very limited seating, and got quite wet which meant we were also very cold. It was not the trip we were hoping for.

Tried to show my parents a good tour of Acadia from the water, but we got stuck on a boat where the speakers didnt work on half of it and the other half couldnt see what was going on. The crew was great, but the manager in the booth was more concerned with selling us tickets instead of our enjoyment. When we asked her (before the boat sailed) to reschedule for the next day we were told that it was too late and we were out of luck and no refunds would be given. Their normal boat was booked for a wedding and they were more concerned with money than good service. Very, very disappointing service.

I had a great time - very informative about Acadia park and the lobster business. We saw about 25 seals - bald eagles circled our boat - Lighthouse - beautiful rocky shorelines and to top it off we got to see a porpoise.The crew was very nice and the tours are dog friendly - so my furry friend got to enjoy the tour with me. Our tour was 2 hours on the dot and it was only 30 bucks. All in all a great time!

It was a great way to enjoy Acadia and learn about the islands, lobster fishing and curiosities about the cottages. We saw some birds and sea islands, a lot of them nursing their babies. We could also check the famous lighthouse. The boat guide spotted a bald eagle and threw it a fish, unfortunately before everybody could spot where the eagle was, so some just missed this.

More of a tour of the "summer homes" built along the coast. Still very interesting. They take you out to Egg Rock lighthouse where you can see a lot of seals floating in the water. The boat was older somewhat small. A lot of people seemed to get a small amount of sea sickness from all the waves.

Would highly recommend. Tom, our guide, was really entertaining. We saw an eagle snag a fish right in front of the boat. Youll get a good sense of the islands, cottages, and the National Park surrounding Bar Harbor. I found the lobster education interesting.

Amazing ! The views are spectacular, you will not see the rock bound coast of Maine in a better way, including from inside the park. Great history and environmental information. I will be bringing my visitors to Maine on the Tour !

you wont find a better cruise in acadia 3.5 hour of blitz fun ... lighthouses to seals tyo eagles to puffins ...unbelievable educational tour... a+++++++++++++++++++.. no rating for it was just damn awesome..

We had a wonderful afternoon seeing the wildlife, the geology and learning about the history of the area. We had a great guide and Captain. Very glad that we went on the tour.

Very touristy, not much nature. Mostly they talked about rich people, celebrities, and their yachts and mansions. Saw 2 bald eagles, one star for each.

We took the 5:45pm sunset tour. Its absolutely awesome. Its cold though, be sure to bring a jacket. There are also blankets on the boat if you need one.
